No. No, it's not. :x
Toure, yes. Sanogo, no.

Sanogo has no place at Arsenal.

what happened to Park? Did we get rid of him?
Released.

Not sure that f we ended his contract or it expire but he is gone.

It expired. (2 year contract and how many appearances?) 2 or 3? on How Much a Week?

Good luck to him, but there is only ONE person to blame for such a ridiculous situation and that is???

To be delivered by Sanogo?

For me the problem is that Sanogo really looks the part right up until the moment he gets the football at his feet, and then it all goes horribly wrong.

FFS why are people writing off Sanogo already, two games into the season?!

Yes, he has a lot to work on but he had the running ability and strength of a forward, when he scores perhaps he will relax and improve?

People here have short memories - remember the Liverpool cup game last season? Giroud was dropped for playing away and Sanogo came and setup the first goal with a great bit of play.

Give the guy a chance sheeesh. I bet some of you were the same with Anelka and Henry when they first started (and no I am not comparing them with Sanogo, just that they also had a slow start)

Because, let me think, he's not very good? So poor against Palace his one shot hit the corner flag and his teammates stopped passing to him.

Didn't he scuff an attempted volley which luckily rebounded for Chamberlain - a guy who can actually strike a ball....

No, sorry mate but no.

Anyone who knew anything knew Henry had a tremendous pedigree prior to signing for us. Yes, he took a while to kick in but I don't think many thought: "this Terry Henry looks like a pile of shit" while waiting for him to open his account with us.

With Anelka too it was obvious he was a fine prospect because he demonstrated his qualities for us at an incredibly young age and kept Wright out of the team, on merit.

I simply cannot see any comparison between Sanogo and Henry/Anelka.

How many games has he had? 10? 12? Probably not even that, and you are writing him off already. He clearly has a mental block, look at the Benfica game, once we he scored you could see how much more relaxed he was when he got the ball. Yes, it was a friendly but it could also happen in the league.

All I'm saying is at least give him this season before passing judgement. People were getting on Ramseys back 2/3 years ago and saying we should get rid, look at how he has turned things around.

Some people have such short memories.

Er, yes but look at the way he won the ball first from the corner - it was good play!

I did say in my post 'I am not comparing them'. I am comparing the situation. Henry was struggling for the first few games, and I remember being at games and also in the Gooner people were already complaining about him - people were saying Suker/Kanu should have been ahead of him! He was getting absolutely slated.

Of course we need another forward, but as a 3rd option he is a million miles better than the footballer formerly known as Nicolas Bentdner.

I'm at a loss to understand how players like this ever find their way to the club. I remember having a lad in my Sunday team like him and we used to call him 'my left foot'. On the odd occasion he managed to get a shot off the usual cries were "three goes for a pound" or "fuck me lefty I live nearer than that"

It's not his fault le cunto picks him but he should be nowhere near the first team, especially when Podolski can't get a game. Whatever happened to playing your way in to the team, surely you have to earn a place? And no, 4 tap ins against a shit side in a meaningless cup don't constitute earning a start in the prem. :banghead:

It's not a case of writing him off, it is a case that he has not made any case at any time in his career to date to suggest he should be getting game time at a club like Arsenal.

You are correct that he has only played 10/12 games for us so far but he is a striker who has not scored a single goal in competitive football and has been on the books for over a year now.

Surely what that tells you is that he should be sent out on loan rather than being the number 2 striker at a club in the Champions League!

If he goes on loan, gets a bucket load of goals then next season he is back in the mix for us but no other club at our level is plucking youngsters out with no track record of success and making them an integral part of the squad like we have done with Sanogo.

Sanogo has had no decent first team football at this standard -like, erm, well good players who've joined us in the past and had slow starts. Meaning they'd already done their time, whereas we are Sanogo's Kindergarten. Anelka showed from the start what he was capable of being - Sanogo is on another, very different and strange planet.

Some people should be fined by the local council for the ill-informed shit they post in public.

:rubchin: :rubchin: :rubchin: Where does one start???

I'm sure he is a nice lad :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: etc...But I'm NOT interested in him as a person- I want him to Do The Business On The Pitch, he can't, he doesn't, he never will - he is Physically Dyslexic - It is Embarrassing to know that he is (at present) our second choice striker.....Let's say after the transfer window closes - Giroud and Campbell both suffer long term injury - Can you "honestly" see him leading our attack and being the main striker and scoring the goals week in week out?

It got THAT Bad against Palace it was as clear as daylight that the mid-field players actually Stopped passing to him, which is Terribly Sad and Embarrassing for him, But as long as AW keeps choosing him the longer this ridiculous and embarrassing situation will continue.

I was actually relieved to hear he hadn't traveled to the Besiktas game. - something I prefer not to think/feel about ANY Arsenal player - he is that awful.
