Everton away match thread.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The team,

Ches,Debuchy,BFG,Chambers,Monreal,The Ox,Flamini,Wilshere,Rambo,Ozil,Alexis

Not unhappy for Olivier to be dropped but I'd prefer Rosicky to The Ox, away from home, the Ox gives the ball away in dangerous areas

That's just been tweeted by AFC

I'm happy with that... agree with you about the ox giving the ball away, but on the plus side at least he will run at the toffee's defence and give them something to think about. :barscarf:

kos dropped. shocker. good for chambers.

it will be interesting to see sanchez alone up front.

midfield is poo. Jack & Flamini, together ? at least flam will protect nacho.

2-1 everton. Dirty to open his account.

Kos picked up a niggle last week and he's protecting him for Wed, deffo not dropped.

Looks like Metro might have rolled the dice and finally got a rumour right, no Poldi on the bench and he isn't injured.

His tweet about the game seems a bit more subdued than his usual stuff. Hope he isn't off, I like Poldi.

Delighted to see Giroud dropped, he was awful on Tues night, if Sanchez can do the business on his own then we might not have to suffer the useless big french fucking poof missing countless chances every week :barscarf: :barscarf:

Arsenal team: Szczesny, Debuchy, Mertesacker, Chambers, Monreal, Flamini, Ox, Wilshere, Ramsey, Ozil, Alexis

Arsenal subs: Martinez, Bellerin, Rosicky, Cazorla, Giroud, Campbell, Koscielny

So it looks like AW is playing Alexis up front, just hope it's not 5 - 4 -1 - needs to be 4 - 4 - 2 at least

Everton:

Everton team: Howard, Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Barry, McCarthy, Mirallas, Naismith, Pienaar, Lukaku

Everton subs: Robles, McGeady, Besic, Atsu, Osman, Stones, Alcaraz

Looks like Everton are set up to play exactly the same as last season.
What chance wenger has learnt a lesson and has a plan in place to stop lukaku tearing Monreal a new one...again?
