PLEASE God let Cavani come to Arsenal - It would be bloody fantastic!

Part of me wants to say Cavani isn't c.......OneBardGooner wrote:PLEASE God let Cavani come to Arsenal - It would be bloody fantastic!
But I promised that saying would be retired when Alexis signed
In 1989 I trust - what does he say will happen ?
Re: SUMMER 2014 TRANSFER THREAD
Think we're getting Carvalho and some unknown CB and that would be our lot. Cavani and the likes are just a pipe dream. Wenger has had a change of mind on selling Podolski after Giroud's injury which tells you all you need about his (non) intentions of signing a striker.
Re: SUMMER 2014 TRANSFER THREAD
I'm afraid to say that I agree with you 100% on that second sentence - the 'don't forget we have 5 players who play there', 'everybody looks for the same positions', blah blah blah, tells me everything we need to know1989 wrote:Think we're getting Carvalho and some unknown CB and that would be our lot. If he doesn't sign a CB then he goes back on his word that he definitely would if Vermaelen was sold.
As for Carvalho - is that likely? Isn't he one of the most sought after talents around?

It's heartbreaking to see 1989 having all the optimism sucked out of him.

Ricardo Carvalho might though. Wenger has a penchant for a geriatric centre half.mcdowell42 wrote:It's heartbreaking to see 1989 having all the optimism sucked out of him.
