As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

i havent received any tickets in the post so i assume i just have to use my red members pass to get into the stadium?
Non non non mon ami. Those fuckers charged me postage for tickets that never came in the mail. I did however get a PDF that I need to print out. Not sure how costs £2.50 to deliver to me, considering I received it almost instantly. Robbing bastards.
The best bit of all was this line at the bottom of the email; "Think before you print this out. Do you really need a hard copy of this email?" - No I don't need to print it you fuckers, I thought that's what I had a membership card for?! But you're making me print it with this shitty new PDF ticket initiative. Wankers.
Are you serious?
Yes, why?
Why aren't the cards activated?
Because it went to Friends and Family sale and apparently they can't activate the cards for any tickets bought after that period starts No idea why. If you bought your ticket before F&F (no idea when that was) then you should use your card as normal I think. Basically if you didn't get tickets in the post or a PDF in your email then you use your card.
I actually emailed them to ask why they'd charged me a postage fee for instant delivery of a PDF ticket by email, seeing as that should cost them nothing, but they seemed to ignore, or not understand, the issue in all their responses and basically repeatedly quoted me what i've just said above. They really are useless.
Re the game tonight, I am beginning to think that we are in real trouble - you look at our centre forward options and it dawns on you very quickly that we have nobody to hold up the ball or win headers You look at midfield and you see that our key provider of goals is missing and when you look at the others, you dont see one player who is adept at getting beyond the strikers or one that is a real poacher in the penalty area.
Tonight could be the breakdown of the last bastion of the akb's......the continued qualification for champs league group stages
Away goals are scaring me! If they score one, I can't see us scoring two. If we concede two, it will be nigh on impossible for us to claw our way back into the game.
i think in a way I wouldnt mind being in the Europa League this season - we dont have the squad to compete in both the PL and CL this season. maybe we would focus more on the PL if we were not in the CL

Too many mickey mouse games against teams of amateur level - steve o would have a meltdown
Bustyfuckedass (see what I did there? ) are shite.
The deciding factor will be; will we cop onto the fact they are shite and put them away, or will we tippy tappy around, looking all nervous like OneBard at a dwarf throwing contest and let them sneak a shit away goal and then do our panic thing and lose 1-1.
Giroud and Ramsey will be missed, but if we haven't got enough in the squad to put away these mongs we may as well just give up on the entire season right now tbh...

TBH that's the level of competition we're suited for. We're not good enough to compete in the CL or Premiership with the current squad and although some might think the Europa League is mickey-mouse, there'll be teams in there that'll cause us problems.
The club have decided that regardless of how long Giroud's injury is and the fact we needed a striker even before it,they won't be replacing him.
With that wonderful news by a club that's f**king loaded and will be charging the kings ransom again tonight for the game,it's very hard to not want them dumped out of Europe and suffer losing out on the big fat wad of group stage cash that they suckle on like a new born baby.
Sadly it'll give them an excuse to spend even less,if that's remotely possible.
I won't cheer if Besiktas go through but I won't be dancing a f**king jig if we go through. Let the indifference reign. Might watch the Napoli/Bilbao game instead.
