As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Bad news on Zigic I'm afraid - Fleetwood Town have hijacked the deal and offered him more money and a two-year contract. However, and don't quote me on this, but as a result Town might just be willing to let their star youth player go. He is regarded locally as the 'new Jack Wilshere' - almost 18, 5ft 6 inches tall with a good first touch and was voted best young player in the local Fleetwood league at U16 level a couple of years back. I think Steve Bould is up there watching him play for the reserves tonight. Fingers crossed.

if you're expecting any of those then you're in for a miserable time my friend.
You really think I meant what I'm saying?
Given the tone of some of the posts on here, I wasn't sure!

Strong words. I desperately hope it's true - just for the hilarity of seeing what happens on here!

A summary of Wenger's actions this summer:
1. Signs a marquee player, that we didn't need, and again doesn't address the issues we have at DM/ST.
2. Decides not to re-sign one of the best midfielders in the world, and in turn hands him to Chelsea, immediately boosting their title chances.
3. Decides that an injury to our only striker isn't enough of a reason to go and buy someone, and will instead rely on Sanogo, or Campbell.
What a shit manager he has become

The club probably started it so that when we sign Welbeck, we're so happy it's not Zigic, that nobody complains!!!

hoping Zigic is work of a twitter wum.
Zigic? why not Heskey?
If he signs I'll just have to give up on this arsenal thing until he goes.

His agent seems to have revealed Arsenal's alleged interest to the Birmingham Mail. Let's hope this is just another Iker Casillas 5year contract load of bollocks but if he comes it'll represent an all time low for our club.
