As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
The draw is normally tedious and drawn out, but today's should be a lot quicker as UEFA do not have to go out of their way to ensure a safe passage for Manchester United into the next phase by hand picking their opponents.
I'd definitely be going to Maribor for that game. Slovenia is an amazing place. I went there on business a couple of years ago and returned shortly after for a holiday.
Maribor is the second city in Slovenia (after Ljubljana) and is home to the manufacturing plant of Palfinger Cranes. I know quite a few people there so I could fit in a bit of socialising too.
Have to ask the question though, How the fuck are Man City in pot one? They have no champions league pedigree except for the last 2 years. When you look how often Olympiacos, Schalke, Zenit etc have been in the competition, how can the blue Mancs be rated higher?
It doesn't really matter who we get in the CL as we'll struggle to get through and then be knocked out like we have in the last umpteen years.
I wish this wasn't the case but unfortunately it is!

That's the case for about 95% of the teams in the Champions League.

Oh yeah, money talks!
Man City aren't in Pot One. They're in Pot Two.
so they are....my mistake
APOEL would also suit me as I have freinds that live a short walk from the stadium and an open invite to come and stay whenever I want to. A bit of winter sun might do me the world of good
