Leicester Away Pub
Evening all,
What pub are Arsenal fans heading to on Sunday?
My train arrives into Leicester at about 1pm so will have a couple of hours drinking time before heading to the ground.
Any suggestions put them on here so we can hopefully get a good group and decent atmosphere together.
Thanks
Matt

Last time I went there with Arsenal the mad professor chose to give Edu his debut bringing him on as a sub ,despite it being minus 5 degrees C and him only arriving from the searing heat of Brasil a few short days before .
Needless to say he pulled a hamstring or something similar within 10 mins and had to be subbed himself.
In time honoured Arsenal fashion he spent most of the rest of that season injured !
Leicester is a shitehole and their fans are pure vermin.
They hang around in small groups round the Town center and ambush if they outnumber you by at least 3-1 they are pure cowards but like sharks they smell fear .
Nearer the ground they infest a few pubs , the local hero is one and they try and pick off away fans who go into the counting shed round the corner.
There are some nicer pubs in the center near the River and round the Uni area but I forget their names its been so long.

Sounds a not entirely dissimilar experience to Wolves away. Which wouldn't surprise me being another notorious Midlands shithole.
Re: Leicester Away Pub
I've spoken to a Southampton fan who's been there a few times and he said The Counting House was a pretty decent away fans pub. Nowhere is as bad as Wolverhampton.

Will people be heading to the Counting House then on Sunday?
Just trying to figure out where I should plan to meet some mates who are travelling there.

Been to Leicester an awful lot. Utter shithole.
Re: Leicester Away Pub
The Counting house is a nice enough pub in itself ,its on a shopping estate type of thing but it is yards away from the local Hero which they infest and is less than 5 meters away .
When we were there we went into the Local Hero pre match and took it over,Job done, but after the match the OB stuffed us into the Counting House and they had ickle spotters running to and fro until we left by cars ,and a mob of about 60 promptly attacked 6 young lads as they made their way back into town to catch the train !
