The Summer 2014 TRANSFER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Our deadline day deals will probably consist of Zigic, Cleverley, and Welbeck, followed by the forum going into meltdown.

Quit with the Zigic sh*t,was exposed as a joke by Matt Law already. Cleverly is off to Villa. As far as Wellsh*t o's concerned, don't care where he goes so long as it's not here.

I just read that an agreement with Real was agreed yesterday.
£20m is a steal for him.

WENGER OUT
.

You actually thought falcao was for sale 20m,you should just carry on posting Wenger out cos that should do the trick.

It was posted by some bloke called Geoff on Twitter .

So, apparently Ba was close on signing to us during the summer... but he decided to join Besiktas as it is "a great club". :barscarf: :barscarf:

We tried to buy or loan him last January I think it was - And maureen said No.

I think he would be a good buy for us - as long as it wasn't too much money - Having seen how dangerous he can be - Strong, Great Pace - Accurate (ish)...better choice than Giroud

Yeah, I think we had a loan deal discussion with them but Mou decided not to let him go to a rival which is understandable. During the summer he was apparently free to go where ever he chooses and Besiktas it is. Shame really as he would have been perfect fit to our lonely striker system.

If you believe that then you probably still believe some fat bloke with an unhealthy interest in children goes around once a year giving all the world's children pressies.

Losing out on players to the elite and the moneybags clubs is easy to stomach but it seems we now lose out to also runs like Roma.
Apparently they are finalising a deal With PSG for Rabiot after nicking Manolas whilst 17yr champions league veterans, rich old Arsenal dithered over a f**king £8million fee.

Oh it's great being rich.

:D :D :D

Arsenal is an easy target to coup transfers as we are dithering every move until the world's end.

Sanchez and chambers signed plus ospina and debouchy deals all but signed whilst le cock was with the ladyboys on the Brazilian beaches but since he returned all we have had is outgoings - decisive action when he aint around whilst non stop dithering when he returns so somebody tell me how this window is any different from any other window ?

Seems to me our delusional manager has decided to manage the transfer window backwards this time to try and pull the wool over our eyes. Usuall we sell first then buy (usually last minute in blind panic). This time we buy first then do the selling. Gets your hopes up then stamps all over them and leaves you feeling sick to the stomach and cheated.

We won't sign anyone of any worth to the team before deadline day :banghead:
