Calum Chambers is a Gooner, Welcome to the Arsenal
Re: Calum Chambers is a Gooner, Welcome to the Arsenal
Mate is a Saints fan and shares Le Tiss' view as well. Says out of all the players they've sold he's most gutted about Calum partly because they haven't seen enough of him in their shirt.

Disaster. Press will now put stupid pressure on him. Then turn on him. Then he will get injured in a nothing Interlull friendly.1989 wrote:Called up to England squad.

Have to say this lad is our best signing of the summer. Looks the part already and has the right attitude to go a long way.

i'm pleased for him, but gutted for us.
in the three performances so far he looks better than his age. he's made one or two small errors but to me is deserving of a place alongside one of per or kos to bring him on quickly. my fear is that he'll warm the bench now. the kid needs regular games.
England are totally shite, as soon as a player becomes available they take em - Chambers is way too inexperienced to be in the set up, and to be honest i don't want the English disease of rewarding mediocrity infecting him.
case in point - woy making wooney captain. wooney had an awful domestic season, a so-so world cup and his united captaincy has 'inspired' united to one point.
imho players should make the England squad after a couple of seasons of solid performances not a couple of dozen games.

Absolutely, quite delighted with his attitude and application - having not seen too much of him before his transfer, I think he can be a monster for us for many, many years.Poldi's Brother wrote:Have to say this lad is our best signing of the summer. Yes the cycle goes like this:DB10GOONER wrote:Disaster. Press will now put stupid pressure on him. Then turn on him. Then he will get injured in a nothing Interlull friendly.1989 wrote:Called up to England squad.
1. Appears in friendly against average opposition - hailed as new Bobby Moore and immediately pencilled into the tabloids fantasy Ingerlund team for the 2018 World Cup and hailed as part of a new golden generation
2. Looks good for 4 or 5 caps - doesn't make a mistake
3. Has a few average games for Arsenal and makes first mistake for Ingerlund - held up by the press as an example of everything that is wrong with our football and blamed singlehandedly for Ingerlund's failure. New 19 year old defender who has played one good game for the U21s held up as the immediate saviour and replacement

Woy, wooney, fuckin hilarious
Anyhow to ignore the 5 year old banterers and concentrate on chambers, he looks very good and IMO he will replace mertesacker by the end of this season/start of next.

No but I bet some wives have it 24/7

Spoke to a couple of Saints fans on hols - they both rated him very highly and a better prospect than Shaw. Looks to have great potential from what I've seen so far but hope he's not forced into ''running before he can walk'' and sundry other clichés.

its certainly less cowardly than your repeated indirect digs at me *word censored*
i do nearly always have you on ignore, but you're too stupid to realize that when you spout your usual bollocks people quote and i can see it.
and as for my comment above about chambers being 'infected' by the England Camp's culture of mediocrity, DB and SteveO understood it obviously.
i don't know why you post on here anyway - typical JCL, you seem to love england more than The Arsenal.
either that or you've got a hard on for Rooney and Wilshire....
