weekends other games - aug 30/31

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

That's 12 goals conceded by them to the victims in their last 3 games and time on the clock here yet.

How have the stupid cnuts not bought a quality striker ? It's obvious to all and sundry that they are shit in the strikers dept yet they have bought 3 defenders and 1 keeper this summer

I liked his introduction - losing the ball to Moreno (who looks a tidy buy) for a goal.

It's obvious to all and sundry that we need a quality striker too and have for a long time yet we haven't bought one either.
It makes the mind boggle doesn't it.

Mind the Gap didn't last long !

So, what does everyone think of one season wonder Pochettino now. The man who inherited the best group of young players in the Saints history and finished top half (whoop whoop) and left Espanyol bottom of the league.

Yep, shitting myself at what this wonderful manager will achieve down the road. Such a massive improvement from last year against the big clubs already

I did too. Not unhappy it hasn't started as such though.

Real Madrid went 0-2 up against Real Sociedad but are now trailing 4-2. To add insult to our injury, the 4th goal was scored by Vela. The player we all didn't want because we thought we'd buy better.

Meanwhile Psg are hammering the sh*t out of St Etienne 5-0,with the Zlat getting a hat trick on his return from injury.

This goal scoring malarkey is easy when you get the proper players in eh :rubchin:

I just mentioned vela in the match thread too. Apparently the postman is better than him

I'm starting to think we could have ibra on our team and he would look like shit cut Mr. Jaded would play him wide left ina system with no tactics.
