The Summer 2014 TRANSFER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

How the fcuk can clubs who have had 3 months to get their transfer business done, apply for and be granted an extension to the transfer window ? If manure cant finalise falcao's transfer and we cant finalise wellshit's before 11pm then they and we should be told to fcuk off

Wenker is a useless despicable *word censored* who should have been sacked years ago and I hope all you flip floppers who wanked themselves silly after the sanchez signing (I'm looking at you 1989) are happy that their support of le cock has been vindicated  Cnuts who change their minds at the drop of a hat don't deserve success and winning that fa cup will guarantee us another 3 years of bullshit mis-management and laughable tactics - you tell me if it winning it was worth the price we are gonna have to pay     :censored: :censored: :censored: :cussing: :cussing:

And this is what he said “There was nobody available of super quality better than what we already have, not all problems can be solved by buying players, we will seek internal solutions, I believe in this team and the spirit and the mental strength, Man City lost to Stoke so there are many strange results, judge me in May”
I think that is what happened.

If welbeck joins I hope he does well for us, knows the league well and will have a point to prove. ALso if reports are true he wanted a permanent move not just a loan..FairPlay to the lad
Not the marque player I think most thought we'd get but could be a gem with a bit of polishing, just disappointed as it stands we didn't look at a quality DM & decentish cb cover

I know this probably ain't the right time and I know emotions are running high and I know I sarcastically mock wenger and personally blame those higher ...... But

Fuck em were arsenal - stick together lads

I wouldn't bother locking it anyway chippy - the bile that was going to flow has probably run it's course by now anyway. I actually think that reactions have been more muted cos most knew we were not going to do the necessary - I think le cock pissing off to rome told us everything we needed to know about his intentions today

I honestly think it doesn't really matter if it was Welbeck or Cavani or Falcao. If we keep playing the way we have for the past two years or so (basically after RVP left), then it is about the shite tippy, tappy, sideways bollox we have to watch week in, week out. Change tactics, play Sanchez in the middle, behind Welbeck (if he comes!) or Podolski. I am bored watching us now.

Oh well.

Nothing happened except Wellsh*t and none of the other players we really want.

Like to say I'm angry but what's the point, nothing will change, too many tourists to line the club's coffers.

So all I will say is any team who can get that hallowed 4th spot off the greedy w**kers, you have my blessing.

Another deadline day over and the usual feelings of disappointment on here, never mind only another 3 yrs to go

I will say it now and surely get slaughtered for it but I personally think Welbeck will be a good player for us :barscarf:

I didn't think we would sign anyone so it's a bonus as far as I am concerned 8)

Right, I'm going to bed.....nighty night ladies
