No one is banning the chap. He was warned and that's it. Unless it's repeated. CE1 - you've been on here long enough to know we let most stuff slide, but after the forum was shut down, the owners specifically briefed us mods on what was and wasn't acceptable going forward.

I would add that personally too I think ANY comparison (mataphoric, exaggerated, in jest, whatever) to Saville is not acceptable. To be honest I'm stunned that anyone would find that post acceptable, the poster himself admitted he'd gone too far.

Nothing to do with power or being shocked and offended, but there are rules on here and tbh if we were to follow them as they were originally set down before we re-opened we would have banned him instantly. We mods have continuously tried to loosen those rules off in an effort to avoid the life being choked out of the forum and it ending up like the bland as shit Arsenal.con forum. And in fairness to our bosses, GoonerEd and the owner Mike, they have been willing to let us do that. But I'll be honest with you we are only one major blow up away from being shut down at any time. And if we get shut down again because some fucking idiot could not stick to the few simple rules we do have, then we will not be re-opening.

Anyone that compares anyone to Saville is a cúnt in my book. Just like ANYONE that makes the hissing gas noise when we play the scum is a cúnt in my book. Do you make that noise? Would you consider that the actions of a cúnt? I would. There are fucking limits to what is acceptable.

So your choice, mate. We mod the place and keep it open, or we let new posters that don't give a shit about the place, and middle aged wannabe hooligans like you, post whatever the fuck you want and we get shut down again.

100% agree with that DB10. We are probably the most liberal football forum around so if people cannot follow the very few rules that exist then they can simply leave......or get banned!

We don't actually have many dwarves on here. It's only really DB10 but he likes to project his shortcomings onto other forum members to make his feeling of inadequacy a little more bearable. I can't comment on the mother shagging but we had a member once who posted photos of their auntie on here. She was very shaggable

Spuddy you cant honestly believe that players have the authority to ignore any managers tactics, much less a manager/dictator like wenker ? I manage our local club side (badly lately as it goes ) and if any c*nt tried to undermine me by changing tactics without my approval, then he would be out of my squad before you could say "arsene wenker is a c*nt" - we all know that wenker controls everything in our club and doesn't like anybody challenging him, so what makes you think that he would allow any player to usurp him like that ?

It should also be noted that the thrashings we received were basically sown up in the first 15-20 minutes......in other words, in the time frame where wenker would have had full control of tactics and before players might be in a position to make alterations

I'm saying that the tactics are my responsibility only and if they are fcuked up, it will be me that carrys the can for it.
I am saying that if my tactics were flawed then I would expect some of my senior players to come to me privately during the week to express their concerns - what I wouldnt tolerate is a player openly ignoring my instructions in front of his team-mates because it shows a lack of respect to me and anarchy would soon be rampant within the squad.
I'm not saying that my idea's are always correct and I have always been open to discussing my tactics with the players both before and during games, but I wont allow players to undermine me by changing things without my agreement on the pitch - it is nigh on impossible to get respect from young players nowadays so as a manager you have to fight to assert your power and hope that they respect that

Basically the idea behind this forum is that it has a kind of pub-like feel, with the random banter, jokes, serious discussions that you would find in a decent local. It's the random nature of the threads that attracted many and kept most of our members. It's a hard balance to achieve between pub atmos and annoying, but if we over-mod the place and keep threads strictly on track, you will quickly find that you are on here with about 5 other people. And you will be very bored.

I'm certainly not saying "fuck off and join another forum" but as I always say to members that complain about a specific aspect of this forum, I suggest anyone not happy go and (temporarily) join the official forum (does it even still exist?? I honestly don't know!! ) or another "professionally" modded forum and see just how shit and boring most of them are.

I'm afraid there are many running long running jokes on here (Spuddy trying to pretend he is over 5 foot tall being just one of them ) and they won't be leaving anytime soon.
