Fair play to you, 1989 mate. You can take a piss take. TBH, I like your wild optimism, brightens this place up a bit. 8)

You should pop on over to the Wenger thread and have a quick butchers at some of the po-faced ceeunts on that one!

Most of the time (and that indeed is to be commended) but on occasions he can get a bit tetchy when pulled up on his mad declarations   Tbh though, it isnt really optimism - today he will declare a player to be a world beater and then tomorrow will argue that he is dogshite and one of the worst players to play for our club. It is exactly the type of flip-flopping that has made flash infamous around here

Don't forget Flash's huge infamous nose too. When Flash lies on his back he is the same height as OneBardEwok.

About 4'5". 8)

Well I was stupidly excited over his performance vs Bayern considering it was Bayern and at the time Giroud was playing absolutely rubbish so I was hoping he'd kick on from that and push Giroud out of the team but alas.....I got it wrong and it won't be for the first or the last time. ;)

Obsessed with you? I'm afraid not, my dear boy. I know nothing about you - apart from the fact that you seem manic depressive. But that's none of my business.

Obsessed with your posts? YES! A thousand times yes! They bring me so much entertainment. I love them.

As I've tried to spell out to you in the past; my criticism is for you. Remember how you got over the Higuain transfer? Remember when you said you wouldn't post on here any more? Remember when you forgot to remember that? I don't want to see that happen again, to any Gooner.

My advice is to remain a little more stoic. Sure, you'll lead a miserable, worthless life. Sure, no one will ever love you, but you won't get so wound up either way - good or bad. Meaning you'll be able to take bad transfer news without being so down in the dumps about it.

Don't take my pearls of wisdom so personally. What do you kids call it? Ah, yes. It's merely "bantz". Top, top bantz at that.

Just consider it. Keep calm and don't be so emotional. People will think you're a miserable bastard, but what do they know? It seems to be working out pretty well for Augie

So be happy that Wengz has gone out and signed Welbz. I look forward to him linking up with Özz, Sanchz and Ramsz. You are my favourite poster on here, 198z. Your optimism is refreshing. Just stop it.

To be fair he wouldn't be the first to attribute misplaced praise to a player. I banged onto my mates about how we should sign Falaini
Conversely I used to suffer Tourette's when I'd see Ramsey in the starting line up and now I wax lyrical bout him

My judgement is not so great either at times

However my opinion on wenger being a bellend is correct and I've an eye for (and lack of) talent so don't question it :D

what is don't get about Sanogo is that wengers rationale has never been challenged or been asked to be justified - Wenger said at 16 Sanogo was a "very promising striker" then he was out injured 2 1/2 years....then wenger bought him and now he's playing him ahead of Campbell and before Gnabry ?

eh ?

he was 'promising at 16' ? - WTF, at 16 he was likely playing against 16 year olds, not 25 year old CB's...

why doesn't he play in the reserves like Ramsay, OX and Walcott did ? - why straight into starting for the first team.

i know he's compared him to Anelka, but FFS Anelka at 17 was playing upfront for PSG at the top of Ligue 1 and they were very very pissed off we snatched him. so much that the rules changed just after.

Sanogo was in a team that was 16th in Ligue 2 (i looked it up). so they are/were basically Sheff Wednesday...

Anelka was always always going to be a top striker due to his pace and first touch - all he needed was to finish better. Sanogo, needs pace, a first touch, positional sense, more confidence and finishing ability.

in short, he plays like a 16 year old in the premiership. lost.

Completed the list of needs for Sanogo for you there.

Similarly, if Wenger genuinely believed he was as great as he says he is then surely he wouldn't have gone out and bought Welbeck?

Campbell I guess is seen as more of a wide midfielder rather than a front man, though he has played as both for Costa Rica.

Gnabry is injured, and is a wide man.

I think that Wenger is seeing what he wants to see rather than what is actually happening.
