The Scum Thread/Stadium Redevelopment

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I have no doubt AFC would consider a ground share if those *word censored* offered enough money though. Levy slapping 75m on the table to rent our place for a season? Stan & Ivan's eyes would light up...

Would surely have to be Olympic Stadium or Wembley. Probably the latter.

Geezer from The Telegraph (http://twitter.com/jwtelegraph) reckons The Grove and Wembley are a no-go. ****** Keynes or Olympic Stadium most likely :coffeespit:
Both #THFC and #afc fans prob glad to hear this but told Spurs hiring the Emirates for 1 season is non-starter due to fixture scheduling
Wembley also virtually impossible as only venue - can only stage 37 big events a yr - but could be used with MK Dons or Oly Stad #thfc

Apparently it's not a 52,000 but a 56,000 seater they want to build, the delusional cúnts! :coffeespit:

They interviewed a girl from the steel company that is holding up the scum last night on SlySports. I swear there was a twinkle in her eye! Must be a Gooner. She also said that the company's employees and their families were being threatened by scum fans. Classy cúnts that they are. :x

The very thought of the vermin trying to fill Wembley is piss funny, even if they gave away 20,000 tickets they still couldn't fill it. And if our Board ever agreed to renting the Conglomerates to these fuckers then there would be lynchings in the street so that will never happen. Even our money-obsessed Board would see that. :x

Looks like the MK for them.

A homeless, smelling-of-piss scum would be lovely. 8)

Fuck them. 8)

It isn't happening and the residents of Islington never mind the council would prevent it one way or the other !

What a fun season that will be, no matter where the fuck they play, I would actually love it to be Wembley, imagine the stadium 1/3 full, with maybe a few more on big clge nights
Can't see the FA allowing them to have Wembley for a full season though.

One billion, looks like Joe Lewis is in early onset dementia. You would have to be demented to think a one league title, under-achieving, average bunch of :censored: in the pus ridden zit on the smelly ar**hole of London is worth that much.

I think the FA would ask for 100m and be happy to pay down some of the Wembley debt TBH.

Think we should come up with a chant about them f**king off and not coming back for good.

"Hit the road scum and don't you come back no more"

Any 'businessman' who couldn't find anything better to do with a billion quid than take over this tin pot club would surely have to be senile, much like Mr Lewis here.

The biggest obstacle to Spurs using Wembley is Thursday is the head groundsmans darts night.
