2. If he is convinced by wellbeck then why not press to sign him full time from the get go ? Was it the price tag that put him off ? Does he not think that wellbeck is worth £16m ?
Personally I could understand if he is yet to be convinced about wellbeck and I would agree if he has concerns over his valuation, BUT he should NEVER have made a public statement about preferring to sign him on loan because it suggests a lack of confidence in the player. I don't care about his statement about whether it would have gone through or not had wenker not been on a jolly up and I find the suggestion about how the deal has pissed ferguscum off to be pathetic

Think everyone on here maybe underwhelmed with his signing when it happened, me included but have to admit his signing has grown on me I'm really hoping he kicks on and I can't wait to.see him play BUT what worrys me is the Wenger factor ie the need to play people out of position on the wings.
