THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Usually I would agree with you, but there have been instances where a club has wanted wenger to buy the player outright...but instead he has agreed a loan deal.. such as Julio Baptista Great rep but proved not to be worth buyng...there are some others as well ..but I take your point..

I think Welbeck IF (and it is a BIG If) wenger plays him as the Striker will do amazingly well and Giroud will find it hard to get a game - unless Welbeck is injured or rested through tiredness.

Arsene of Wenger went to Rome to see the pope and he said to him: That Danny Welbeck lad is half decent.

Wenger sacked by TF1 because of quote "unrealistic salary demands"
He may have to actually use his summers working for Arsenal and finding better players now...
Find it weird a guy who's so against excessive wages in football has no problem rinsing it when it comes to his own. Weird.

Babachukwu's back I see.

Beautiful, flowing attack sees Chelsea carve open Swansea to allow Diego Costa to grab his second of the game. The move starts with Cesc Fabregas, who plays a one-two with Eden Hazard just inside the area and the Spain midfielder cuts the ball back for Diego Costa in the middle of the box, who makes no mistake. Six goals in four games for Costa. What a buy he is proving to be.

Arsene said he didn't want to buy back Cesc as we had Ozil to fill that role... and then he precedes to play Ozil out on the left wing... *slow clap*

A pity we didn't offload him this summer to Chelsea and replaced him with Fabregas.

Not resigning Cesc has to be the worst decision he has ever made.
He has gifted the title to Chelsea
