Abou Diaby - Injuries Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

That's him fucking sold in January. Cheeky cúnt, shooting when there was at least two more passes in both those moves. :x

It should be noted for the record that Diaby played the full 90 minutes.

Yes that is correct, he completed the game.

Debuchy is a real loss. He has looked very good and would have gotten even better with games under his belt. :(

Monreal, for me, is no more than a squad player, and so whilst he won't be missed par se, it is one less squad player available for us. But hey - not to worry, Arsene addressed these type of issues during the summer.

Agreed on Debuchy. Have to admit I was totally underwhelmed when we signed him but he's pleasantly surprised me. Doesn't back down from a battle & actually seems to relish it, surprisingly strong in the air and his energy and purpose up and down the flank has been great. I was a fan of Sagna's but Debuchy's been a breath of fresh air to be honest. Still, at least we've got plenty of cover in defence... :barscarf:

Also as much as monreal isn't a miss per se, gibbs will get injured sooner rather than later so could be a blow afterall

Agree completely. I was pretty disparaging about the signing but based on those few games he's proved me wrong.
