Hearing updates from the Mousers game made a pleasant drive home all the better. There were even fans coming on the radio complaining that they'd spent a fortune and not signed much quality. Which is 100% true but very surprised to hear dissent from a Liverpool fan.

It's a real problem for them because they were never going to challenge for the title again but they would have been hoping to ride the crest of last year's wave for a few months and build up enough points to put themselves in a strong position to finish top 4 whilst hopefully having a stab at the cups. As it is the aura has evaporated within a few games and they could well be 6-9 points off us and United come November/December.

They've gone out and replaced 1 player with 6. As you said like Spurs they have thrown bucketfuls of shit and hoped that some of it will stick.

Did anyone see Sakho's idiotic header infield for Shammers' 3rd? The bloke is truly fucking terrible, he is a genuine calamity. Combine that with the latest Madrid 'superstar' Varane embarrassing himself in teh World Cup by being held at arm's length by Hummels for about 15 seconds for his goal and Koscielny must be fuming that he's sitting on the bench for France. I've given the bloke plenty of stick but his transformation has been immense and I thought he was very good again today in the first half. Until Villa stopped trying.

Kos is a good defender in loose play, but he is, and always has been, hopeless at defending set-pieces.

Maureeno will be unbearable, but there already seems to be a bit of unhappiness in the Citeh camp and a defeat would exacerbate that and may keep them in our sights for a while.

Nope. The feeling of invincibility especially by not losing at a rivals ground is a strong one so, Shitty win all the way for me. Just to nip any talk of unbeaten till the end of the season in the bud right now. Think it'll be a draw.
