I would understand this if he had only played kids but we played Podolski who has got about 100 caps for Germany :banghead:

I dread to think what our back line will look like when we play Chelsea - in the 2 games before this we will have the scum and Galatasary kicking lumps out of players

"Lacked a bit of sharpness to score" is gibberish Wengerspeak for "we were shit in front of goal".

The "experience" remark is bemusing as Wenger bought and picked that team.

I honestly do not listen to a word from his mouth post-match nowadays.

Considering it is one of only two we can realistically win it's pretty annoying.

After the Dortmund defeat he said "don't blame Ozil", now he says "don't blame the youngsters" for the loss to Saints.
If he is not careful the majority will eventually get around to identifying who is really to blame.

We are a bit short at the back, yes, because of the injuries. You sit there and think: Gibbs had a little hamstring problem and we could not play him, Mertesacker is a bit on the edge, and then we have no choice

No choice? What about buying the extra defenders everyone knew we needed? :banghead:

Look forward to Maureeno doing the same tuck up job in a couple of weeks
At Chelsea last year Wenger's fucking mind-blowing naivety made me angrier than the Chavs knocking us for six. I really mean that. Reckless tactics are one thing but it's all risk with no reward. Ploughing 7 players past the midfielder in possession on halfway - if the midfielder gets the ball away they've still got 8 men behind it so no danger but if he gets caught we are fucked. No doubt Mourinho will come up with another childish, disrespectful comment on Wenger in the run-up to piss him off. Mourinho knows it will make Wenger determined to be his anti-thesis and sure enough he will continue to penny-pinch, bleat on about FFP and turn up at Stamford Bridge with no tactical plan.

We basically have two modes in these big games: extra-inhibitous or suicidal. Old Trafford he gets it wrong every year. 2011 anybody who saw the line-up knew we were in for a bumholing but Wenger still set us up to get completely gangraped. Then the one year to go up there and dominate, last year he set us up so negatively that even after our 0-0 game plan was scuppered inside half hour we couldn't muster a chance. It's just unfathomable.

He isn't just shit at tactics, he ignores them. He literally said as much, that he makes no allowance for the opposition each game. How many fucking games has that complete arrogance cost us? He should have been absolutely castigated for that absolutely shocking admission.

I've generally mellowed a bit because although my view on him has no way changed he is here til 2017 and I'd rather walk away than resent every game etc as some people seem to. But the way we have started this season with our complete fucking disregard for set pieces and managing to look physically and tactically spent in August + September has really fucking riled me. We've all seen it before and people are barely even pretending to think we can mount a challenge. Since the win in Dortmund last year - where we for once decided on a sensible and well-executed tactical plan and reaped the rewards before reverting to type a few days later at OT - my favourite moment in Europe has been Souness tearing us to shreds after the game last week because every fucking word the bloke spoke rang true.

It's such a shame because we are genuinely not that far short imo. But Wenger will forever be two or three players away from a great transfer window. We have some really exciting players - I think Sanchez is/will be fucking brilliant, Ozil can be top drawer, Welbeck has limitations but can bring pace and dynamism to the entire attack, Oxlade-Chamberlain is the exception to the rule of overrated English youngsters and imo has got everything to make it as a top player, those are just a few. But Wenger will never get the best out of the squad and in any event our talent is undermined by the obvious areas of fragility.
Agree with everything there NB123 - I only have to see or hear the smirking crunt and it makes me angry - the thing is we've got him for at least another 3 F**CKING Years! :banghead:  :suicide:

I have come to terms with the distinct possibility of us never winning it ala the CL as long as Le Clueless is here.

Does wonders for my blood pressure tbh.

Reminiscing about the 2011 League Cup (Carling Cup) Final vs Birmingham always helps.

Yes, the premierships most fragile player, the man who gives away the ball for fun, the man who has the brain power of a retarded amoeba, is Arsenals new defensive powerhouse and guardian!
Arise Sir Wonga, your fucktardiness has surpassed previous levels on this one, my cat could make better decisions for Arsenal FC than you. Fuck right off O senile one!!
