Scum at home

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Just got in from a nice little cash in hand earner. Quick shower, now sat in garden with a cold one ready to go! Please Arsenal, go for them from the off and this could be something special. Their midfield and centre backs are nearly as bad as Manure's, so they can be got at. Can't relax, the hour before a game against that lot is a killer! COYG!!!!!

Szczesny, Chambers, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs, Wilshere, Arteta, Ramsey, Ozil, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Welbeck
Happy with that... 3-1 although another 5-2 would be nice. :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Subs Ospina, Coquelin, Flamini, Rosicky, Podolski, Cazorla, Alexis.

If Ozil plays up top just behind Wellbeck then ok, but if he's out wide then it should have been Sanchez all day!

Mind you... after having a second look at that team, I have a bad feeling that Wengers going back to that 4-1-4-1 system that didn't work the first few times we tried it. :banghead:

Are you really surprised? Chumps league Wednesday followed by the chavs. I hope Wengers has learnt a lesson and he's not running him into the ground.

Wherever Özil plays and whatever formation Wenger chooses, good luck, Arsenal :barscarf: :barscarf:

Twice early Arteta has made poor decisions up the pitch and left us horrifically exposed. Once for the Chamberlain booking, again for the break off the corner that just fizzled out.

Don't get me wrong, it was a poor loss of possession and woeful cross respectively that led to the moves but both times Arteta got caught in two minds pressing too high and easily bypassed leaving the back four with zero protection. He needs to realise what his role is, especially with no pace. He can't be pressing the ball on the edge of their box.

Welbeck looks lively.

welbeck is playing well - direct and has pace.

ox is having a go.

jack doesn't do well on the left. he's better in the centre.

ozil seems too deep as usual.

as normal we look stupidly vulnerable when we lose the ball to lower opposition.
