Scum at home

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

An absolute disgrace, so laboured and with zero passion, thankfully I have a ST but if I paid 90 for that I would burn the ground down.

4 in the PL, 1 in the CL so not quite, he needs to learn more subtle in his fouls  - bit of a silly yellow card today, scuffle with Lennon with a shirt pull.

Was impressed with his pace today- in contrast to some matches where he looked a bit short on speed.
Hes pretty cool under pressure too- weve had some good signings this year, just so so annoying that we didnt even replace TV5 :| :|

Yeah, we've had some good signings with our best one starting on the bench in our biggest game.

The result is very frustrating, obviously. For me, the thing that makes it most frustrating is how utterly useless Spurs are. Any decent team (a la Chelsea) would have finished us in the first half with all the chances that we gave them by turning the ball over when Mertesacker/Kos are at the half way line.. then we don't learn from our mistake and it costs as we hand them a goal.

They were literally clueless. Even for a Spurs side, they were unusually diabolical. And we gave them a fucking point. And we laboured throughout the game and almost lost. Where was the passion? I blame Wenger mostly.. he got his tactics wrong.. but the players aren't blameless either... we should have went out and showed them what small time shit losers they are, and we didn't.. and here we are with more dropped points in a game where we should have comfortably won. :banghead:

*EDIT I also wish that Ramsey would stop trying to be so extravagant. I stuck with him during 'that season' and said he'd always come good.. he didn't frustrate me as much as other Gooners then because he still was a lad with a lot to prove who I felt would reach his potential. Well, last season he proved it. He proved he is great by keeping it simple and making well-timed runs; through intelligent play. This year? He's trying to be that overly confident show pony again.. and he needs to cut it out, because he's best when he keeps it simple and that's all we need from him.

Special mention for Greedy, he was utterly f**king useless. They continue with him this season they will be lucky if they make top 10. He has become a complete joke. Shitty must have seen Levy coming

He makes Sanogoals look like a star striker. Glad the scum are letting him steal a living for £100k a week

That was the weakest most pedestrian scum side I've seen in 10 years and we gifted them a draw.

Ramsey is back to his backheeling, flicking, teckers shittest. Very disappointing.

Let's be honest as much as I like Arteta and rated him for 2 years his legs are gone.

But ubercunt of ubercunts for me is all action superhero Captain Stupid - Flamoney. Fucking prize arsehole. Yelling, pointing, remonstrating, jumping about, but doing fuck all right himself and caught on the ball like a schoolboy.

Wenger sign a proper DM in January or we are fucked. :|

Agree they were absolute shit but the difference to previous years was that they kept 9 men behind the ball nearly all the time. Normally they are just all over the shop but as dire as they were they had men behind the ball.

They are hopeless and pissed away every counter-attack opportunity but we created far fewer clear-cut opportunities than I can remember us ever doing against them before. I'm just fucking relieved we didn't lose it because we were clearly running out of steam just as the goal came.

Why don't you enlighten us with your superior knowledge instead of laughing.

Most of the negative posts have actually put forward decent reasons, so why don't you take these negative posts to task with you superior knowledge then

We were poor today no doubt, but the most frustrating thing for me was the total lack of urgency in our play - lethargic doesn't even begin to sum it up  When you have fast players like wellbeck and ox, then as a team you have to play with high tempo cos slow tempo allows the opposition time to position themselves to negate our pace. I actually felt sorry for wellbeck today cos he was starved of the ball, but on the other hand if the ox wasn't beside him for that airshot, we would have lost tonight and he would be the cock whose finishing let us down (fine margins and all that).

I have yet to read any justifyable reason why sanchez didn't start today  You pay massive money for players with massive talent and who can make the difference on days like today, but yet we bench him  When he finally came on he was absolutely horrendous and nothing he tried worked for him but its hard to get up to speed in a game like today when you just come on.

Ramsey was so bad today that I was actually glad when he got injured (it's not a serious injury before anyone starts having a meltdown here  ) - he has been poor of late but today he was absolute dogshite and as DB10 has said, those flicks and backheels are ridiculous and make him look like a c.unt
Flamoney is a French w.nker of the highest degree - yes Chesney should share responsibility cos it was a ridiculous decision to throw it out there, but getting caught in possession like that is pub league level  Maybe if he had of played more football in the last few years instead of cashing his paychecks whilst pulling bench splinters out of his arse, he might have gained enough experience to know not to get pickpocketed like that   A load of Gooners were delighted with his return to the club, but for me he is the type of bang average footballer that is rotted our club in recent seasons. and that he is a money grabbing c.unt only makes him worse

Hats off to ox, chambers and ozil today as I felt all had played really well 8) If I had to pick one of them as our motm, I would pick chambers cos he has mostly been played at cb for us but today he seamlessly slotted in at right back and was confident enough to make surging runs forward 8)

I wasn't thrilled to see our players make such a concerted effort to be cordial - helping their players off the ground and high fiving?

WTF is that all about?

This is the NLD FFS; these players are too soft and need some passion inculcated within them.

Can you imagine Keown, Adams, Vieira, or Parlour doing that?

Even Lee Dixon commented on the lack of intensity. That "derby" was a farce.
