Galatasaray (H)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Sooooooooooooo bored by the CL tbh. Bloated competition that delivers one or two good games per group at best. Mostly tepid negative "nervy" football played by teams that don't want to risk anything so as to avoid losing the CL income.

But I can't ever wish us to lose a game no matter how bored I am of a given competition. Also, it being against the uberscum stab-happy filth that are the majority of Gala fans, I hope we destroy them. But in all honesty it'll probably be a boring tepid nervy 2-0 to The Arsenal.

Yay! Champions League - you go girl!! :barscarf:

ok so the dilemma - do we go all out to try and win a match in a tournament we can't win OR save some players for Sunday in a match we can't win

Looking for the team you are supposed to follow lose, fuck off you rascal.
Im afraid im just a realist, there wont be protests, there wont be people avoiding games...so the only way for wenger to leave early is shit results....ill take a season of bbeing hammered if it meant wenger getting the boot. I support arsenal SO much im willing to take that pain to secure a better future for the club!!

One blessing is Galatasaray don't have Drogba to taunt us.

I've a feeling that Moron-hio will start him this weekend. It will be kind of like when you break up with your old girlfriend and then a few years later you bump into each other and you give her one last hard fucking.... just for old times sake... and spite...

Probably being 'saved' for Chelsea, makes the Summer even more of a disgrace as he's clearly not been 100% all season.

The flip side is he plays him and he gets worse and can't play on Sun where we could go there with Bellerin, Chambers, Mertersacker and Gibbs as a back 4, if you are in the fantasy league you should load up with Chelsea attackers because that is not going to go well.

Mate, go down the bookies. Easiest money you'll ever make with a chelsea win.

Guess then Chambers at centre back and Bellerin or Coquelin at right back?

Or even Hayden in at centre back and Chambers at right back?

Ramsey and Arteta out too.

I would start Oxlade-Chamberlain next to Flamini in midfield, then line up Alexis Sanchez and Cazorla either side of Ozil, with Welbeck up front.

An attacking line-up, but I think we need the win and need to get the goals flowing.

Not really.

Tottenham, Arsenal, Besiktas, and Galatasaray. ..It has all the makings of the most epic Royal Rumble between fans in football history, and the best part is we hate Tottenham and Galatasaray hate Besiktas - there will be no allies, just a total free for all.

See you lot on the cobbles.
