RIP Thread

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

I thought Limerick as well, BWK. :rubchin:

But none of those lads appears to have a screwdriver or crowbar buried in their head. :rubchin:

There is no negotiating with this level of fundamentalist religious zealot scum. They don't want power sharing, or equality, or land to farm on, or any of the things that historically many "rebel" or "terrorist" groups have fought for. They want an intolerant religious ideal, or martyrdom - and some basically want both. The West and the moderate Arab/Muslim countries have to realise this now and wipe IS out. It may mean killing thousands of these fuckers but tbh it has to be done. If you cannot live peacefully in this world and tolerate other peoples' beliefs without resorting to slaughtering innocent people because they are a different religion to you, then you should be removed from the world.
The problem with this lot is that they are essentially cowards, just like the Taliban. If we (the supposedly civilised world) put foot soldiers on the ground IS will just blend into the local population. You could be talking to one of them and not know it.
If they had any courage at all they would stand there in a uniform and be counted.

So to summarise, not only are they barbaric brainwashed scumbags, they're cowards too! :box: :box:

Read somewhere that her dying wish was to just see one more Christmas. Very sad she didn't get to. RIP. :(

It's true. She was on Radio 4 two weeks ago - explaining that she had decided to stop the chemotherapy (In late August/ early Sept) as she couldn't take the terrible consequences - bruising inside and outside all over the body - along with loss of functions and all the other horrible side-effects it can bring, and had set her heart on spending one last Christmas with her husband and 2 sons.

The way she talked should enormous courage in the face of certain death.
