Keown's face is what i imagine Ribery would look like if he had extensive facial surgery! No offence Martin, always one of my favourite playersVAVAVOOM 14 wrote:Great documentary on Keown BTW if anyone is interested; it's very revealing and he is remarkably intelligent.

Re: BOULDY THE NEW PAT RICE??
I think it is a fair guess to say that under George Graham, the defence were coached for ages, going over and over routines and positioning, set pieces and offside lines.Theoperator wrote:Quartz- he must have hours and hours of time to get things sorted, but for reasons that are unclear they dont.QuartzGooner wrote:Does Bould get the proper opportunity to make a positive contribution?
Does he get much time to work with defenders?
I doubt it.
Training sessions short but intense.
Disrupted by mid-week games and intra-European travel, illness and injury.
Under Wenger training itself is shorter though more intense.
The specialist coaches get little time to make a difference, and there are less training sessions in total because there are more mid-week and overseas games.

FFS. why bother even arguing with themnut flush gooner wrote:LOL wtf, its amazing how much bollocks some fans some out with when the reality is that they where probably in nappies when Bouldy was playing for Arsenal.Midz wrote:Agreed, I don't see what Bould offers at all. He was never a major part of our famous back 4/5. He only played when someone was sick.

Uncle is a legend. end of. Same as Pat Rice.
you can't diss their playing records just because they don't out their boss as an utter senile moron.
Bould is still young, on 17.05.2017 (AKA Freedom Day) he'll still not even be 50. THEN we'll see what he can offer the club.
