I simply can't get my head around both the referee and linesman missing the tug on Flamini. It's one of the worst refereeing decisions I have ever seen, even worse than the Silvestre penalty vs these northern *word censored* from a few years back, even worse than the 4 stonewall penalties in the FA Cup final. You have to wonder whether this sort of thing ever evens out because I can't remember us benefiting from a decision like that in a very long time

Just an absolutely depressing result. The manager deserves to be punished for the state he's left our defence in but it's still shit to watch every team score against us almost every time they get a chance.

As has been said, Alexis is a class above and it's only a matter of time that he'll get sick of playing for us.

With regards to today's game, Bellerin was surprisingly good and also made a lot of counter attacks that would normally be very dangerous for us pass without any goals conceded. Chamberlain had a very poor game today, as did Wilshere. Gibbs didnt offer a lot either. He never really tends to. Also committed too easily for their 2nd. Chez made their first goal too easy for Diame.

To be honest I think we are too lenient on some of our younger players. Wilshere has been terrible this season and we look bad every time he plays. He needs to keep it simple.. his performances are much better when he does. I would also drop Chesney at the nearest possible chance.. He is way too cool, has major lapses of concentration and needs a kick up the arse in my opinion. He literally came within a millisecond of losing the ball at 1-2.

Another dreadful result in what has been a miserable season so far.

Ever since the cup final it's been pretty much all bad news.

Wenger signing a new contract - bad news.
Sanga pissing off to Citeh - bad news
Alexis Sanchez joining Arsenal - good news :barscarf:
Ticket prices increase - bad news
Wenger selling Vermaelen and not replacing him - bad news
Opting against signing Fabregas - bad news
Seeing Fabregas sign for Chelsea - bad news
Deciding not to sign a defensive midfielder - bad news
Kroenke helping himself to £3m dividend - bad news
The board's behaviour at the AGM - bad news

Then on the pitch...

Win 2 of first 8 league games - bad news
Knocked out of League Cup - bad news
Failure to beat any of the big teams - bad news
Endless injuries (again) - bad news

And it's still only mid-October :(

Southampton four up v the mackems.
No doubt his preparation included supplementing his meagre wage from us by prancing off to France to rake in more coin.
Right on cue NB

Flamini: weak in body and mind. A disaster waiting to happen every time he plays.

Jack; tremendous skill in his feet, porridge in between his ears. Another petulent foul, badly executed that results in him getting injured.

Ox; in a central position looked very poor.

Players just don't seem on the same wavelength. Slow, tippy tappy against a packed defence yet again doesn't work. AW clueless.

Depressing.

So embarrassing today, I honestly cant see us getting into the top 4. Our defense is more open than a prostitutes gash

And he still comes out with the same post game shit...
It was a disappointing afternoon because we got a point but we had 80 per cent possession. It is a very disappointing result. We were unlucky with the referee on the first goal but on the second goal we can only blame ourselves. We came out of the dressing room with a lack of focus and gave them the lead straight away. It was difficult. I cannot fault the effort or the heart that we had in the game. The defensive concentration was missing on the second goal and when you make it difficult at that level you cannot give the goals away like that.
:banghead:
And...
I think the performance was quite good but we put ourselves in trouble because we gave two goals away. We put our heart and effort in until the last second and I cannot fault the effort, the spirit and the work rate of the team. I’m quite respectful for that.
:banghead:

Just fuck off now!!

Well, that was a load of old bollocks. I'm one of the biggest pessimists going and even I had this one down as a win. Cheers Arsene, you useless old wanker.

The only thing Clueless could point at was the possession stats, but as someone once said, if you don't use it properly possession is over rated.
Who ever believes we were unlucky is delusional, they had 3 chances to break away and score the 3rd, the first was only because of an under hit pass.
Devoid of any game plan, the age old problem of Gibbs being in a different post code when they scored the 2nd.
Generally after the 2nd goal went in we were a shambles until the last 5 minutes when Hull sat back to defend what they had. We never looked like equalizing until then. Ok they used some dubious tactics to break up the game, and stop us getting any head of steam, but this was Hull f*****g City.

I don't know how many of you was at the game from here, but we actually played well.
Monreal and Bellerin had very good games, the OX not so good.
How the fuck they got a draw is unbelievable, the ref has got to be the worst ever.
Speaking to mates at the Arsenal today, is a very different view from the crap that's posted on here.
