You have to wonder whether this sort of thing ever evens out because I can't remember us benefiting from a decision like that in a very long time

And therein lies the problem. Does the usual fannying around on the 18yd line and over complicating every single attack constitute "playing well"?

Are you equally confused when your girlfriend complains after a fancy meal, lots of foreplay and no penetration?

Monreal and Bellerin had very good games, the OX not so good.
How the fuck they got a draw is unbelievable, the ref has got to be the worst ever.

You say we played well, but (a) we swicthed off for Hull's second goal (even Wenger admitted that  ) and (b) we were passing it too slow mate. No wonder we couldn't break them down. I can't see how you can evaluate that as playing well. :?

Possession isn't everything. We didn't cause them enough problems until right at the death. We don't very the play enough and it makes defending against us easier than it should be.

And I'm still amazed how little is being made of Flamini's role on the first Hull goal. yes, the official's made a blunder but Flamini was in front of Diame and instead of dealing with the ball, he reacted to Diame's foul by stopping and complaining, thus allowing him a free run on goal :x
- I'm sorry, but the first rule of football should be play to the fucking whistle. Put the bloody ball in row Z and then cry to the referee about Diame

Thought Bellerin played ok for his debut. Not a bad 3rd choice RB really.

It was a blatant foul and Flamini expected a free kick.

I was at the game and most people I spoke to were of similar opinion to those posted on here...people saying season over except for the FA cup, we'll struggle to finish top 4, no chance in league, no chance in CL, Wenger will never win against maureen, disgraceful state of defence and lack of DM, no tactics or direction most weeks, shit use of Ozil, why do we have so many injuries again etc etc etc.

To be fair I thought we played alright for half hour.....then it went to shit.

I know that. We all expected a free kick.

That's why, even as kids, it was drilled into us to always play to the whistle. It's common sense because you can't always trust the ref to make the right decision.

I think it's a dangerous gamble to take when you haven't heard the whistle. The simple alternative was to kick the ball away and then complain.

Yeah man with you and Ldb there. It's the ref!
Forget that £150mil squad Arsene had out there, you should need ref intervention to see off Hull at home!
That's how big clubs roll, refs needed to beat nothing teams. It's also, really comforting to know the Emirates if full of zomb...errrr...sorry I meant "real " fans like you who will always find a way to excuse Arsene. Lord knows how you'll cope the day Gazidis finally manages to boot him out! Maybe the club will burn down to the ground eh? Or will you become a Guingamp fan? (Wenger will turn down Real to manage them course. Just as he "selflessly chose" to accept another £24m this summer instead of taking the Barca job mwahahaahahaha)

And yet, they'll happily renew this summer even with another 3% price hike for Kroenke's Slush fund eh?
Way to show that dissatisfaction at the state of affairs!

Personally I will always renew as it's in my blood and what I love to do.
I have been on all the arranged marches/protests regarding the way the club is run. These have proved to have very little if any success due to poor turnouts. If half the people who sit at home and criticise and sneer on forums at people who try to do something actually turn up ... maybe things will change...who knows?
What would you suggest doing....as giving up doing something you love without a fight and moaning about it hasn't proved very successful has it?

I went to the game, I'm not sure we did play well, yes we had a lot of the ball but we were at home and that is to be expected, it's what we did with it that determines how well we played, we had a good spell at the start and after we equalised but other than that it was the same old tripe where we have the ball and do nothing with it or did you see it otherwise?

The second goal was a farce, how can a giant like that get beat in the air like that? That's not good defending so can't be classed as good play, not sure what the fuss was for their first goal but I'm sure I will see it back on the highlights, I guess it's all down to interpretation and what side of the fence you sit on but then I've never worked a day in football so what do I know.

Jesus, are you still banging that drum?

Some will renew, it's what they do, others won't, there's plenty of moany people in the ground, there's plenty of moany people who won't set foot in, the club ain't going anywhere or losing any income with any financial protests, sooner you get over that the sooner you can stop boring people to tears with the same arguments.
