you have to love LVG - back in June he was 100% sure he was the man for the job even though he couldn't start til mid july.

then after a shite start, in mid august says "judge me in three months ".

now, not two months in he's " i never meant to say in 3 months, don't be silly".
Louis van Gaal believes he made a mistake during his early days in charge of Manchester United, reports The Sun newspaper.

The Dutch manager, who led the Netherlands to the World Cup semi finals in the summer, told the press to give him three months before they formed an opinion on him.

But now van Gaal, reckons he may have been a tad optimistic. "It was my stupid fault I think, for mentioning an exact period (of three months). Now I have to answer lots of questions about the three months. I have belief in my philosophy and Manchester United has belief in that philosophy too. That is why I am here. It maybe needs more time. Who knows, maybe the match against West Brom is the start of a new period."

and soooo they scraped a draw at west brom, which was their "best performance of the season" :rubchin:

i think we may have finally found someone more delusional than "le Professeur".

the glazers must be shiteing it.

6 out of the 8 teams they have faced are in the bottom 8.

And they'll still probably beat us 0-1 in November.

Nah, we'll draw at The Emirates, our mandatory Old Trafford loss arrives on the second to last game of the season.

Luke Shaw. The "saviour of Ingerlish football".

Fatboy Phil Jones. "Future Ingerland captain".

:coffeespit:

That is all. Thank you. 8)

As crap as they've been they're still above us, so I'm finding it difficult to revel in their travails without feeling a bit like I'm taking the piss out of us.

Other than Citeh, all of the supposed challengers are 10 or 11 points behind the Chavs. It could be a very long season.

We've played the only two really top sides in the PL; Citeh and the Chav, they haven't yet. We've had an NLD also. That's a spread of 9 points that could go against us more or less every season. Manure have played only the chaff (apart from Everton - who are no great shakes this season).

The manc filth will get destroyed by the chav and citeh. Absolutely pillaged. Watching them last night the thing that struck me the most was that they looked like a team of lads that had never played together before, like someone had just grabbed 11 players, stuck them on a pitch and told them to "have a go". They had no cohesion, no players looking for, or anticipating, other players' runs, no player understanding.

They will of course have the odd good result. Every team in the PL does. But they will not get near that top 4 next May unless they spend a bazillion pounds in January. And change manager again.

You do realize United have only played two teams in the top half of the table - Swansea and West Ham?

Both were at home too.

In fact, United only have one victory from four matches against teams placed 14th or lower...

They've had the easiest start to a PL season I've ever seen and still bottled it.

We may be shit but at least we've already played Tottenham, City, and Chelsea.

United have Chelsea and City their next two matches, then we'll see where we stand.

the thing is that you know Man United are doing everything they can in an attempt to get back on top - ok it is not working but at least they are trying.

for us there is no attempt to get any higher than 4th place and this has been the case since the move to the Emirates.
you know that there is a good chance that United will at some stage get it right whereas with Arsenal these days you just know they won't.

Van Gaalol believes his team can still overtake the chavs and win the title this season.

Guardian.

As someone said earlier, we've finally found a manager more deluded than Clueless.

they are actually already above us in the league despite introducing a load of new players into their team.
whats our excuse?

Now you are onto another matter which has absolutely no bearing on what I posted.

Are we still all laughing at a team that are above us in the table? Okay, so they are a bunch of *word censored* - with a player called JudasCunt And a manager whose face resembles a melted candle version of Beavis......but..yunno - they ARE above us. :?

that reminds me of another team.....

and the funny thing is, after the chav loss wonga said we played well but lost due to individual errors, and then last night LVG said " we played well but lost due to individual errors"....its like they were twins, separated at birth LOL.

of course they blame the players - the players they bought, train, coach and set up....

onebard - as others have said, yes they maybe ahead of us by 1 pt, but that will change, and if we finish 6th or 7th and one place behind them, and they miss out on CL again - we both win. wonga gets the sack or resigns and united have a firesale or go bust.

its all good. :barscarf:
