THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Yip-fucking-ee.

He will still be here in 2017. And a good possibility he will sign another 3 year extension then. Certainly if the non-questioning Sir Chips Fucktard has his way... :|
I dont see us fnishing top 4. What has always has saved us, is the ability to be flat track bullies against the dross in the league, well so far, we have already dropped points against Hull, Leicester, and Spurs, and yes Spurs are shit, as City proved on Saturday. Not to mention the fact, that our defence has kept one clean sheet this season. Also, i can see Liverpool spending big in January, while penny pinching Arsene will look for a defender on loan, and expect it to solve all our problems.
And last season we dropped points against Villa (home), West Brom, Stoke and Swansea (home) as well as dropping points home and away against a shite manure side that no one feared and that the other top teams (and a good few of the shit teams) all beat.

Nothing's changed. We always have a few clangers. Same old same old. The point for me is that the PL is quite weak, there are only 3 teams better than us over a season; Citeh, Chav$ and possibly the Mousers if they spend in January.

Not only will we get 4th, we might even stumble our way to 3rd. But of course it'll be 3rd with us about 20 points behind the champions. :|
As shite as uniteds defence is, they will score enough goals to get top four, and will probably buy a top defender in January aswell. So it will come down to who is less shit between us, and L'pool.
Just interesting, comparing our position now, with the last few seasons 2013/2014 P8 19 Points
2012/2013 P8 12 points
2011/2012 P8 10 points

Arsene Wenger has amassed this year the same number as points as Moyes did last year after 8 games - 11.

Wenger spent 40million more though

If West Brom hold onto this lead against United then van Gaal will have the same number of points as Moyes had. Except without playing Liverpool (away), Man City (away) and Chelsea. And with the added bonus of a 4-0 bumholing from MK Dons.

Only cost £150m plus whatever ridiculous money Falcao is costing for the season too. Embarrassing that the pundits are now falling over themselves to declare what a good job he seems to be doing.

He ought to if he fancies remaining Board Chairman or even remaining on the Board.

Our dear gestapo leader really isn't the one to fuck with.

This thread started out as "Wenger - views for and against" , those with strong views against for years Appear to be exhausted and now biding their time, there is no more that can be done to get a proper balanced view on the dictator

The football is not inspirational, the team lacks sustainable and long term ingredients to be a winning team...and we all just hope other teams screw up for us to finish in the top 4...

At least some teams have hope ... Look at Southampton !!
