Abou Diaby - Injuries Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Wenger "discovered" Diaby, at least in Wenger's mind. Buying Alonso would have been seen as buying in talent to replace a Project Wenger Player and that would be to admit failure. :|

I cant understand how fans keep asking questions like this - yes he is an absolutely shocking waste of money, but the reality is that he isn't fcuking good enough and I don't want him near our team. He isn't a DM, and isn't better than ramsey, wilshere, the ox, ozil or cazorla so why do people want to see the c.unt back on the team-sheet ? :? Leave the c.unt in the treatment room until he is fcuked out of the club for good 8)

I agree 101% mate - BUT, until he actually starts playing again - and only then will wenker have to admit he is shyte and is shown the door.

Mind you wenker NEVER admits he is or was wrong - That would involve humility and being truthful and honourable.

I did hear he'd gone on a hiking holiday in Nepal!

Lucky Diaby wasn't sat on this bench or he'd be on the treatment table for another 5 years.

the highlight of my season so far was to see him stroll around whilst playing against Southampton for about an hour.

a real collectors item that one - at least I can say I was one of the few to see him actually play :barscarf:

Rarer than a Loch Ness sighting.

“He is not in the squad because he has a small calf problem,” explained Wenger ahead of another trip to the Stadium of Light.

I know he hardly ever dons the club shirt anymore but I didn't realise Abou's part-time farming duties were now taking precedence over his football career!!

What is the point of having Diaby at the club? Just pay up the remaining contract and release him. Then we can all move on from this court jester.

In January it will be 9 years since one of our most loyal players joined the club......surely we will give him the chance to extend for a year and earn a much deserved testimonial
