I'll be honest and say I pay fairly minimal attention to the Championship but hearing the scoreline "Birmingham 0 Bournemouth 8" brought a smile to my face. It made me think of a number of clubs that I am exceptionally glad we no longer have to put up with soiling the Premier League. I think we should take a minute to appreciate the we no longer have to go through the highly unpleasant experience of sharing a pitch with Blackburn, Bolton or Birmingham twice a year any more.

Which other clubs do people take particular pleasure in seeing in the lower leagues? I imagine Leeds would feature highly for most people but apart from two half-decent seasons under O'Leary they've never been anything approaching a 'force' in my time.

Deliriously happy that Luton were demoted time after time due to them beating us in the Littlewoods Cup final on my birthday the bastards !!

Also glad to see Wrexham struggle for similar reasons.

Bolton - Their chairman's an idiot. When they were clinging to their PL status by their fingertips he was always suggesting a 'Premier League 2', in which there'd be no relegation from that league. He was also in favour of the addition of Rangers and Celtic and just wanted to draw the bridge up to try and keep the TV money flowing in. IIRC it was reported in the last month that they're about £190m in debt. Ha ha ha.

Birmingham, Wolves, Coventry - I've just never liked West Midlands teams.

It is, always was and always will be Leeds effing United. Not just because the first time I saw Arsenal lose was to that bunch of thugs ordered by Revie to take out George Eastham which they took it in turns to do, not just because they beat us in the first cup final I attended and not just because they then beat us in another cup final. It's mainly because they have so little class that they built a statue to the talentless thuggish little bully Bremner as if he was some sort of glorious hero. My favourite sports picture is of Dave Mackay lifting the little shit off his feet by his shirt and Bremner's face with the expression that says "please don't hurt me". My father worked with Bremner's cousin in the 70's and I know from that that even his own family didn't like him.

Luton, Wrexham, Birmingham as said before, MK Dons because they are tinpot and made-up, Leeds for all the obvious reasons, Newcastle because of their fans and the fact that they just 'love football more than anyone else on my earth' according to the press since the mid-90s, Coventry because it was always a shitty ground and they avoided relegation for about ten years by winning the last game of the season despite being shit for the rest of the year, Carlisle because they were *word censored* when we played them in a cup game at the start of the last decade. There are probably a few others but those are the ones which spring to mind.

The ego-trip that was Wigan, because their Chairman was a media darling, who the media failed to notice was a complete hypocrite.

Fulham, because of what previous and current owners have turned the club into.

Plus, they were both perenially shit and had poor support, especially Wigan.

Am always happy to see Birmingham City lose but I can't think of any other clubs in the lower league that I have bad feeling toward.
I guess it is kind of funny that a 'massive club' like Leeds is struggling (on their 4th manager this season already) but I would actually take more pleasure in seeing Stoke go down from the prem than much else.

I know it will never happen now but I would love to see Chelsea and Man City totally implode. We all know they're average clubs that won the lottery and without a sugar daddy they'd both be scrapping it out in mid table year after year.

Agreed on Birmingham and add Bolton, Blackburn, Leeds, and would gladly see Sunderland, Stoke, Hull, Villa and Everton added to that list.

Leeds United , think gobby sing when you are winning Man U and Liverpool fans today, and that was Leeds fans in the 70s. Now I know a few Leeds diehards here in Dublin who went to games when they were in the third tier and go regularly now. I know our gobby Man U or Liverpool fans wouldn't have shown that loyalty if their clubs had fallen so low. I admire those Leeds fans for staying true but still hate their club.

Luton Town FC...everything about them in the mid to late eighties was worth hating. No away fans, plastic pitch and worst of all Steve Foster. And Littlewoods Cup Final 1988. Arsenal lost a game from the jaws of victory. Had no sympathy for them going non league.

Oldham another plastic pitch and "oop North " attitude. We saved them from relegation in 93 by beating Palace on the last day. Were they grateful ?..NO .

What's your issue with Everton Sid? Only issue I guess is the shocking part of Liverpool where they (and LFC) are based. Club is well run and fans are decent level headed people.

Middlesbrough - Because the place is a dive basically. Nothing against them per se, just don't want to have to go there ever again.

Other than that I don't really have any. Pretty disappointed that Fulham went down, that was always a great away fixture with the pubs in Putney or the boat trip.

Of the current PL teams, I can't wait for the day Stoke go down. They're this decade's equivalent of Leeds. Hateful scum.
