As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
just noticed that the Southampton game is category C!
bargain of the season IMO - £25 to see one of the best teams in the country. tickets on sale to red members on Monday.
I suppose Arsenal deserve a bit of credit for the category C fixtures. It is rare that I praise them these days so it makes a nice change
it is just a shame that there has to be category A prices too though - this for me is the most shameful thing the club has done since the move to the Emirates and I will continue to boycott these games. Obviously season ticket holders don't have that luxury but everyone else really should think twice before buying them - if enough boycotted then they soon wouldnt exist. I also think it is fairly pointless going to category A games these days as we refuse to have a squad that can compete in such games..
I would give them credit for the C fixtures if there were slightly more of them. We've got QPR and then Stoke - I can maybe understand QPR being a B (London derby, Boxing Day) but come on, Stoke is a C even on a Saturday!
I'm guessing the only other C games will be Leicester and Sunderland, possibly WBA but that's only if it's a dead rubber. So that'll work out over the season as 5A, 8B and 5C, when ideally it'd be 5A, 5/6B, 7/8C. I'd be happy with the latter TBH.
I boycott A games, the prices are just astounding for two 45 minutes periods of football. Fair play to those who pay them!
The C being: Burnley, Leicester, Southampton (strange), Newcastle, Sunderland, Hull, West Brom
Could be wrong there. Anyway the Club have it all worked out, they will be winning out of the revised system of doing things, or else they wouldn't do it.
No matter what you think about the manager, the absolute c u n t of an owner, and a number of the players.........£75 for a family of four in the family enclosure is pretty decent value for a Premiership match in this day and age

The only Cat A match I have done over the last 2 or 3 seasons is the spuds match. Just not paying that much .B and Cs only for me. I would do all the Cat Cs but quite often they seem to be on weekdays which is more difficult for me to tie in with my lad and travel.
Are the same teams Cat C each season or do they change it depending on who on the fixture list lands on a weekday This would maximise seats sold I suppose.

It is if you don't have to watch us
Correct - and you don't have to go. Just saying that compared with the cost of taking a family of four to most other forms of entertainment (especially in London) it is affordable. Whether you personally decide to go or not is up to you
