The 2015 Transfer Rumours Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

How long before Alexis is linked to every petro-dollar fuelled club on the planet, it's bound to happen, he's not going to hang around for the fourth place trophy, he is far to good for the team he is in at the moment and far far to good to be managed by Wenger.

Draxler out for two months with calf injury... Well we are used to buy already injured players, so is there a hope?

If we maintain our 'bully boy' run until Christmas and avoid defeat against ManUre at home then any hope of January signings will be out of the window. We need to be at least six points off the Be All and End All before the wig wearing c u n t will panic buy to preserve the dream

Does anybody remember Lassana Diarra's time with us?

He was clearly seen as being talented, because plenty of clubs were keen to sign him, but most clubs then seemed even keener to get shot of him

I ask because it appears he's available on a free, which is, after all, our style.

wally is looking for a new deal.

still a great prospect.......

after 9 years :?

i'd put him on the same wage with a pay for play deal - he should show us some loyalty, 3 1/2 years into a 5 year deal and he's played one good season.

we'' ll give him 150 grand a week to chill with diaby though :banghead:

Not so much a case of him looking for a new deal as the club need to sort out a new contract as there are 18 months left on his deal, so if he is to be sold this summer would be when there would be a decent return on him.

Attacking midfielder Talisca linked again, might be worth celebratory drop if we sign him?

wonga on whether we need another CB in January :
Asked whether he plans to sign defenders in the January transfer window, Wenger responded: "Honestly it's not the worry tonight. We just came out of two clean sheets and maybe thought we had got the job done at 3-0.
so, two clean sheets against Sunderland and Burnley are now the benchmark for defending at the highest level. apparently. :banghead:

Jesus... did he really say that?

If it's not the worry, then he must be the only deluded fucker that was thinking, "Hey - I'm not worried that most of our first choice defenders are injured, we signed no real cover, we released 3 defenders and our back up back 4 just threw away a comfortable 3-0 win by conceding 3 goals. At home. Against the financially doped Anderlecht. It's not a major worry."

Oh, sorry - I'm sure there are a few sheep fans of Arsene FC that were probably thinking that too.

He is embarrassing the whole club every time he opens his hole. Again, as has been said here millions of times, why the hell doesn't anyone from the media question his bullshit? I just can't get it.

This is going to be ugly. There will be time when people start to laugh out loud to him straight to his face when he says something. There will be time when journos start to hound him and that is going to be ugly.

Rejoice!

According to The Mirror ( ), uncle Arsene is set to alleviate our defensive woes by offering Man Utd actual cash-money for ................Chris Smalling.

Superb. I hope it's true coz he'z well gud innit.
