I remember the same sentiment last year when United were floundering under Moyes and the post-transfer window excitement about Ozil was in the air......think we were top as well

We gave the most insipid, tip tap, toothless and gutless performance of the season to that point and limped out of OT without a shot on goal in 85 minutes. In the return we were fucking cock as well, making old man Ferdinand look like Moore, Beckenbauer and Baresi all rolled into one.

Sadly our days of putting on a show against the Mancs and the Chavs are long gone.....thanks to the inferiority complex we've developed....owing to our Lord and Master selling them our best players and numerous hammerings over the past few years. The best we'll muster is a draw. More fucking chance of plaiting fog than us taking an even-more-shit-than-last-year United to the cleaners

It was a bad performance SteveO, IIRC wasnt it rumoured that they had all had the flu jab just before the game at OT, certainly BFG pulled out at the last minute with illness. It was uncharacteristic for that time of the season last year when I and many had their hopes up ( ), may not have been as limp if the rumours were true.

Agree the home match last season was sooooo frustrating, Barely anyone left their seat near the end, expecting a last gasp fire at them and all the extra time was spent resisting the pressure by tippy tappy across the centre line
