THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

SAVE OUR SEASON WENGER OUT NOW

You could tell we attacked a little beet with the handbrake on and you can see some of us a little bit in the red zone. I have 30 years military experience, and feel we have been little bit unlucky with injuries in previous battles. You cannot account for that.

Did anybody else feel a warm glow when they read the comment where wenker suggesting killing himself ? 8)

Of course he was always going to be irritated at the BFG comments at the end of the Anderlecht game - this is the second time in 3 weeks that they have had a public difference of opinions and you do get the sense that Mertesacker no longer believes in the arrogant French cock

Seady Now Rodders!!!!

Perhaps help is on it's way!

(And from the most unlikely of sources)

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/ ... al-4587626

Excerpt: "Arsene Wenger has claimed he would rather kill himself than already concede Arsenal cannot finish top of the Premier League this season.

The Gunners boss revealed that key defender Laurent Koscielny is out for another month - and warned Theo Walcott won’t be back to his best until Christmas.

After the late Champions League collapse against Anderlecht, Arsenal could be 12 points behind leaders Chelsea by the time they kickoff at Swansea on Sunday.

But Wenger insisted: “If I say to you: ‘No, the objective is not to win the title’, then I have to commit suicide when I go out from here.

“The objective now realistically is for us to get back in a position where we have a chance to win the title."

Of all the terms he has used in that interview the least applicable, most absurd and ridiculous is "Realistically" - The buffoon lives in cloud cuckoo land FFS! - That "Chance" went out the window when he failed to buy the absolutely indispensable players in Mid-field and CB.

With the exception of a few players - everyone is playing shyte - the lack of commitment and effort is appalling - and it all leads back to him.

If those comments are genuinely his then he should get a rap on the knuckles for joking or being flippant about the scourge of suicide. apart from that he is deluded if he believes Arsenal are in the title race.. in reality I think he knows we are not but cannot say it publicly.

Sorry to go on about this but this has got to me. I am writing on a thread called "Threats to Wenger ".. I would never threaten anyone or condone threats to anyone, yet here is our manager making flippant remarks about killing himself..I know he is not saying that in the context of this thread , he couldn't give a f**k about our opinions, but there is an epidemic of suicide in my country and I find his remarks crass, stupid and insensitive. Pity he didn't say he would resign if he didn't believe we could win the league. Then we could hold him accountable for that in May.
