Abou Diaby - Injuries Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Rumours that Diaby has suffered a fresh injury setback are false. Just spoke to the club/ I read it on twitter from a journalist that spoke to the club

A journalist asked during yesterday's press conference when we can expect him back, to which - I sh*t you not - Wenger answered angrily, "give him time"....

We've been waiting on Diaby's return longer than Christ's.
Aaaahhh yes but this guy looks in better shape than Diaby!

And he's more popular!

:rubchin: I wonder if we can sign him....? :rubchin:
The word on Twitter is that it's nailed on.

Phew - I think that I just had a near death experience when I thought that he'd been injured. Just think of the impact it would have had to Wenger actually having to buy a defensive midfielder. Now we won't need one!

It'll be like a new signing when he's finally back!

Bigfoot and the Loch Ness monster have been seen more times than Diaby on a pitch.

How does he get away with the things he says these days? Even his most ardent supporter must grimace at nonsense like "Diaby isn't injury-prone" and might be worthy of a new contract. It's like the last days in Hitler's bunker some of the lunacy coming out of his mouth.

Wenger has clearly decided to call it time and is now having as much fun as possible be seeing how much shit he can get away with spewing.

Just read that, he will get a new deal irrespective of fitness. He'll get a new contract even if he doesn't manage another minute of football this season.
