Win and we get bragging rights over utd...which is good, but wenger gets another out of jail card..which is bad!
Lose and i dont see the down side....utd have given up taking the piss outta us its been that easy to take the points off wenger, and losing gets the media knives shaarpened for wenger even more.
How sad its come to this!
1 win against them in the last 14 and that in a dead rubber. The 8-2 changed everything - since then we've let in six at the Bridge, five at Liverpool. six at City - and do we look any the wiser for the experience? Do we fuck
Expect to see some of the most naïve, comic book defending at both ends - we could score 4 and still lose this game

I knew it was a long time but didn't realise it was that many games. Also don't forget the fact that he's never beaten Mourinho and please don't do Everton a disservice after they spanked us 3-0 as well

I don't care what people say about his never walking away from a contract - the way i see it the scale of abuse that he is going to get is going to get progressively worse over the next couple of months. a loss to United will be the start of a very rocky ride.
The beginning of the end? Wasnt it the beginning of the end after Birmingham Newcastle Milan the 8-2 the hammerings last season. Wenger is the safest manager in the prem.9 years without a trophy and no one running the club even questioned his position

I cannot see anything but a home win and am amazed that any Gooners think otherwise Yes we are shite defensively but if they are missing two of their main attacking threats (di maria and falcao) and are depending on an uninterested former Gooner to fire them to glory, then we should be ok. Sanchez alone will be more than good enough to tear their defence apart and I honestly dont see anything in their midfield to scare us and if de gea is out then we are laughing.
Listen I'm as pessismistic as the next guy, but I cannot see anything but a 2 goal win for us

If Di Maria and Fellaini play - United win, simple as that. It pains me to even bring Fellaini into the debate because he is the most useless fucking lump known to man, but against a defence that contains Monreal at CB and poor old Calum being made to look a complete cock at RB, we are going to get a slapping
Monreal failed to win a single header against Swansea

Especially as Fellaini will be allowed, as per usual, to smash open skulls and noses at will with the tacit acceptance of the ref.

What's concerning is that Giroud is someone with a record of zero goals in 2 years vs the liked of ManYoo, Chelsea and Citeh. FFS he hasn't even scored any league goals v Liverpool! His record against the big teams is abysmal. He's 28 is it and yet just got a fat contract extension - based on exactly what? He's already slower than a dysfunctional toilet flush so he ain't gonna get any quicker.
And when he invariably limps off injured and Sanogo replaces him, the excuse will be "who could cope with such injuries"?
He has scored against the pool unless I was halucinating at the the time, in a 2-2 draw at home a few seasons back, he is however bang average.
Did he? U may be right so that makes me wrong on Pool count.
My original criticism about his big game performances still stands
I don't know who's more average him or Welwide?
Seems you forgot Girouds goal against Citeh at Wembley too a few months ago- TBF it was a great one
I'd be very surprised if we win this game. Arsenal have a complex about playing Man Utd (even last season when Moyes was in charge and they were losing to West Brom, Stoke, Swansea etc ) and Wenger really isn't up to any sort of big game, even though it's the shadow of a once great Man Utd.
We'll win, lifting all the pressure off Wenger as fans/journo's reinstate his managerial genius and harp on about how those who want him gone are foolish and shortsighted.
Olivier Giroud could return to the squad against Manchester United and Wenger feels the pair can provide healthy competition for each other.
"There’s always a fight because we have a lot of offensive options," the boss said. "Welbeck can play in different positions up front and there is room for both of them to start in some games. Of course it is a fight.
Welcome to the left wing Danny - hope you enjoyed the run out up front but you've no chance of staying there now Wenger's lovechild is back. At least when Podolski is sold you'll have a clear run at the dreaded left wing back slot
Another achievement for our great manager. Anyone who thinks we will win tomorrow is delusional, we are shit against them, no matter what injuries they have.
