“Look, I think first of all, in the 18 years I’ve been here, I’ve shown I can take criticism. Everybody has the right to have an opinion,” Wenger told his media conference ahead of Arsenal’s Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.

“Having said that, we have values at this club. The first one is when you have a difficult period, you show solidarity.

“The second one, when you have something to say to each other you say it face-to-face. You don’t got the newspapers.”

Wenger added: “Believe me. I don’t take it personally at all. It is an opinion I respect.”

Like questioning the naïvity of your defence PUBLICLY ? Hypocritical c.unt   :cussing: :cussing:

Re the long term commitment of players like sanchez, can I just say that I t6hink that we would be more likely to be able to hold onto them if we made positive changes in the club even if we missed top 4. Stumbling along and scraping top 4 in this shambles will make any self respecting player, question what the fcuk kinda mess is he in - the world and it's mother can see that he isn't capable of organising this team so I'm damn sure that players like sanchez can see that too and finishing top 4 cos of other clubs ineptitude will not convince him to stay.
Btw klopp is a big enough name to keep and attract top players so please don't argue that losing le cock will affect the abaility to sign quality players
When he told the fans they "hadn't worked half a day" in football was that to their faces?
When he accused Jose of "financial doping" was to his face?
What is this moron on about? He got dicked on 6-0 in his 1000th game and refused media duties because "the bus was leaving"
He CANCELLED the annual fan Q&A because a fab rightly, to his face, called him out on Silvestre. That sound to you like someone who can take criticism? How did he react to Schole, Merson and Jacqui Oatley?

A team is a reflection of it's manager and we are rudderless, clueless and most of all cowardly. Show the did flash v shite teams but when it comes to facing someone our own size, it's just the usual arse-smashing.

The more he talks, the worse it hrs from him. The sheer arrogance is fascinating to watch...

That makes me think, Wenger always bangs on about how he missed on this player, or that player (Messi, Ronaldo, Yaya Toure,Ibrahimovic to name but a few), perhaps they real reason we missed out on them was because of Wenger, they all realised he was a *word censored*... and a loser also!

To be honest, I think we need to stop with the whole 'we won't get top 4' thing. Chances are we will get Top 4. We always do.

Who gives a flying :censored: if we do get top 4? I certainly don't. I've had enough of the tactical naivety, players with no bottle, serial losers.. etc. At the Yanited game (about 5-10 minutes after missing his sitter) Jack lost the ball and instead of getting straight back up to win it back he fell to the floor and punched the ground. That's the mentality of a loser. We need champions, people with bottle.

Wenger can't inspire these kids. Modern Wenger can't teach them how to be a winner.

Whether we get Top 4 or not is irrelevant. All this 'we won't get Top 4' just sets the AKB's up for their annual wankfest if we inevitably do.

Taken from Untold Arsenal, the Blind Wenger worshipers. They should create a new religion called Wengerlogy. Arseblog is heaven compared to Untold's deluded authors and followers.
I cannot believe some of the comments i am seeing on other Arsenal blogs. You know people are saying they actually want to finish outside the top 4, so that Wenger leaves? Its beggars belief. The AAA always try to justify their idiot comments by saying “Oh but we support the club and not the manager”, well thats clearly not the case. It pisses me off how their hatred for Wenger spills over into the club. Being associated with these morons is not good and does absolutely nothing to help the club that they apparently support. Please fuck off and go support Chelsea; im sure everyone would be a lot happier.

Sorry to be OT, but just needed to get out that little rant haha. Keep doing what your doing Untold – you are a glimmering light of positivity amongst all this misplaced anger and bullshit!

Wenger time to leave

Post by OneBardGooner »

I want him GONE, however for me - It depends - If - - - IF he moves upstairs then all this shyte we are currently enduring will continue because he is a despot and will not be able to keep his mitts from interfering - also who takes over from him...

If they could get in a temp coach till May - then okay get him Out NOW....or if we can secure the services of Klopp or Pep - then I can last till May - just..but at least I can see the light at the end of this very long & dark tunnel getting brighter - and so my life getting brighter by the hour and the day.

WENGER OUT! at ALL COSTS! :barscarf:

BBC - fairplay to them - brought up usmanov :

http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/30191352

wengers answers appeared garbled and forced. maybe its just me but he looked furious - one thing about the ECL is that their rules mean the manager and captain HAVE to fufill their media obligations.

and not once have we heard wenger say "we need to worker harder on the training ground" or " we need to review our approach" etc etc

Klopp must be rubbing his hands with glee at this prefect chance to put himself in the window for us, united, city or even the chavs...

i've always liked Henry Winter :D :

Arsene Wenger is making a powerful case for his departure from Arsenal this summer

The game owes him a deep debt of gratitude but watching the Arsenal manager behave like this, ignoring the faults that others can clearly see, is painful to behold

End of the season and he should announce it in March to give us time to get Klopp/Pep. Earlier than that and he'll be a lame duck manager (yes I know). If we get 4th then great, he leaves having secured another season in the CL and, despite the last few seasons of awfulness, I'll bid him a fond farewell. If we finish lower than 4th, then we can have a fresh start without having to go through the dull CL group stage.

Btw I'm not an AKB or a WOB, I'm just a bloody Arsenal fan! This categorisation of fans pisses me off TBH, it should be possible to have a mature debate on the management without it.

Isn't it funny that AKB always tell people who criticized Wenger to fuck off and support Chelsea or City or as if those people hated Wenger since day one.

this has to be the article of the day - Daily Mail Sport Editorial - "Wenger should have gone years ago" :

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... y-out.html

the answers are 100% WOB :
So, let's start with the obvious question: should Arsene Wenger stay or go?

Online Gooner: Go. He's had enough time to improve things since the stadium move, but he's failed.

Just Arsenal: There is no doubt that Wenger is failing tactically nowadays and does not adapt to the opposition like more flexible managers, but the problem is that contemporary opponents have worked out how to stop us. For that reason he needs to step back, but not until the end of the season and a suitable replacement is found.

GoonerTalk: I think this should be his final season at the club while a new manager is lined up to replace him. He signed a three-year contract at the end of last season and is unlikely to be relieved of his duties anytime soon by an ageing Arsenal board who have absolutely no professional football experience whatsoever.

Le Grove: He should have gone years ago. Arsenal are a club in slow decay. The worst start in 32 years. It's just not on. Mistakes in the transfer market, a failure to build a balanced squad, another massive glut of injuries, tactical ineptitude and yet more failings against the top teams. It's not going to get any better, he's over as an elite manager. It's time for a change.
and sadly this :

Three words that sum up being an Arsenal fan in 2014.

Online Gooner: All hope gone.

Just Arsenal: It's Groundhog Day.

GoonerTalk: Still can't defend.

Le Grove: Numb, exasperated, bored
i actually feel represented now :D
