Dortmund (H)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Cue snide comments from Wanker along the lines of "I'm sorry we won, sorry to ruin your day.'

It was about this time in the Anderlecht game that Arteta went off injured, the French Pointer came on and it all went to shit. Just sayin'

Watching them tonight explains their league form i guess.
Not really, id suggest their league form is more of a concern to them, than winning a meaningless game against us.

If we win 3-0 then we get the tiebreaker over Dortmund, if we finish level. I actually wouldn't mind us pressing for another, even if it means we might open ourselves up.

And the torture goes on & on & on & on.

As soon as any pressure builds - 1 win gets all the numpties gloating again.

1 step forwards 2 steps backwards and repeat ad infinitum

BFG4: I'd disagree, if the result stays the same it makes the last games even in the group very interesting.

Anderlecht currently beating Galatasaray and will not want to be beaten in Dortmund, Dortmund struggling domestically could really have done with a win here to ensure winning the group to relieve some pressure.

We potentially could win the group if Anderlecht pull it out the bag, a few weeks back i'd never have even suggested that but after them turning things around against us you never know

So there we have it - virtually guaranteed to finish second as Anderlecht with nothing left to play for themselves will not win in Dortmund

Bring on Madrid !

I wonder what we'll do with the £70m City pay us for Sanchez in the summer?

Good result, good performance. :barscarf:

Played more one touch tonight than in recent games, zipped the ball around faster.
Helped by an off the pace Dortmund giving us space.

Still trying to get my head round this unorthodox Sanogo...

I really, really like sanchez. and unlike ramsey he is guarenteed to improve next season. if we hang on to him over the summer (and january!) it'll be wenger's greatest achievement  :barscarf:
