West Brom Away Pre Match Pub

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

West Brom Away Pre Match Pub

Post by mattyj3nks »

Morning all,
Where will the Arsenal fans be drinking before the game on Saturday?
I know its an early kick off but as there is no designated away pub im wondering where everyone will be going.
My train changed at New Street and then onto the hawthorns.

Would be good to find somewhere we could all get together before the match.....

Ive just been told by somewhere who recently went there as an away fan that the main pub for away fans is 'The Royal Oak' on the Birmingham road so looks like that's where I will be heading.

My train gets into the hawthorns at 10:19am so loads of time for pre match beers

The vine in Roebuck street (5 minute walk) is the best pub for away fans and i'll go as far as saying it's the best pub for away fans in the league.

Looks awful from the outside but inside is massive with a good mixture of fans and indoor bbq and indian food. Also heading there after the game for couple of hours.

I've already been onto the pub and they open at 10:30am.

Agree. The Vine is one of the best pubs anywhere on the away circuit.
