Arsenal merchandise

Post by Gunner Rob »

ok something different to the Wenger out/in :D

last time I went to the Arsenal to see a match (end of October) I paid a rare visit to the Armoury
thought that since we had actually won something for the first time this decade that it would be crammed full of commemorative rubbish. I was actually very surprised that it wasnt. I even had to ask whether they had a mug commemorating the FA Cup win. Odd I thought as the only time I have ever bought any memorabilia in the past is when the club had won something.

either the marketing team are doing as poor a job as Wenger  or they know that the new Arsenal supporter places less importance on winning something than the club being part of the PL elite. Is this maybe what qualifying for the CL actually really means?

The last piece of official merchandise I bought was the 09/10 home shirt. Nothing else since then. Trying not to give those wankers a penny more than I have to!

Rob, they are doing a great line in virtual mugs. You can't see them but you can be happy in the achievement of having one.

That is odd. Last time I was in there I saw hundreds of mugs.
