And that Squillachi, vastly underrated player- so good he can set up goals for the opposing team.SteveO 35 wrote:You're forgetting the hero that is Johan Djourou - the club's longest serving foreign player ! Henry leaves New York Red Bulls.

I can see him returning to us as a "Corporate Ambassador", doing charity and community work and even the odd stadium tour, a bit of media punditry in the UK too.
Also taking his coaching badges whilst he works out if he wants to be a coach or a manager or stay out of the pressure cooker with the ambassador and punditry roles.

He's changed his FB page to the Emirates.
I think wonga will add him to the coaching staff in an ill judged attempt to placate the fans.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Bouldy quit and replaced by TH14 either.

He seems to be quite interested in punditry. Would be good to have him at the club in some sort of ambassador role but I personally don't want to see him given a coaching role.QuartzGooner wrote:Henry leaves New York Red Bulls.

I agree - with no experience, TH14 although a Lege, is only fit for coaching the kids in the striking roles
Guardiola and Simeone are rare birds - look at bruce, hughes, keane, robson, Tony adams, O'leary as examples of very successful players who went straight in on the back of their playing careers and either got relegated or busted their clubs budgets.
nothing beats working in the lower leagues imho.
