Flamini would stay if we offer him the same money as Juventus.Tell me anyone who would turn down £20,000 a week more than you are earning now.All this loyalty shit is bollocks.Every footballer in the premiership is in it for the money.
my worst nightmare is we will now keep old man Gilberto to replace him

Wanting to play for Arsenal still comes into the equation Donaldo!
The majority, if not all of our "stars" such as Cesc could earn more elsewhere easy yet they choose not to as they appreciate where theyare!
In the case of Flamini he has had ONE good season and now appears to think he is Bertie Big Bollocks!
Last summer he was on his way to Birmingham! If he goes I hope he fails and ends up at Wigan or somewhere equally delightful!

It always cracks me up when people talk about footballers wanting an extra £10,000 or £20,000 a week like you or me wanting £2,000 extra at our yearly pay review. If you are getting £50,000 a week you dont need to hold 'out' for an extra £10,000 on top of that unless you have absolutely no loyalty to a club. So dont defend any Arsenal player when we he asks for EVEN more money than he is being offered currently and compare it to you and I asking for for a little bit more each in our wage packet. The two things are uncomparable. Especially so when not only that its the season ticket price increase that we will be paying this year that helps finnace the wage bill.
Now i know you have to pay top dollar to ATTRACT top players, but lets not forget some of the players this club has had have never been close to the top of the earning league.
If there is any element of truth in him not wanting to stick around becuase of an extra £10,000 then do we want him.
However, i really hope this is a load of old cobblers and he does stay. Can someone not show him a list of players that have left Arsenal only to find dissapointment and medicority.
