Anti-Wenger Protest

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Can any members of the Gay Gooners, Singapore Gooners or Outer Mongolian Gooners please make an anti-establishment banner as these types of "fans" banners are seemingly a dead cert to get put up by the club.

The debate over Wenger's future has been raging after one group of supporters unveiled a banner against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday saying, "Arsene, thanks for the memories but it's time to say goodbye".

Any banners calling for the departure of Wenger at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday will be confiscated if it is judged that they could incite problems between home fans.

:cussing:

We need as many showing the small cards/sheets with "Enough Is Enough" - how can they confiscate a couple of thousand?

Next they will be banning the use of flip flops

The QPR home game would be a perfect chance for fans to show their disapproval of the current state of affairs.
Boxing day, the weather could be horrendous, what more of an excuse could you need to stay at home, put your feet up and spend some quality time with friends and family?
Even half empty they would still have us believe it was a full stadium of 60,000+.
The wife or Wenger..... it's a no brainer...... i'm booking my seat now!

What a Great Idea Goose! - They may confiscate Banners etc - But what about Flip Flops!?

Most of you are probably too young to know/remember, but what if we take a leaf out of the Black Panther's Book of Protests! - I'm serious and wish no offence to any black gooners/people - But when Tommie Smith and John Carlos - also a few others - went up n the podium with their medals - they not only held black gloved fists in the air...but one shoe in their other hand - as a symbol of poverty amongst the black people in the USofA.

Why don't we all take a flip flop and simply hold it in the air - The media will soon catch on to the 'link' between the Banner and the Flip Flops - on a deeper level it could also be a statement about how wenger and the Board keep flip flopping - besides which it could be humerous form of peaceful protest whilst still making a valid point.

What we now need is SteveO to come up with a Lyric about Flip Flops - to a well known song! 8)

Flip flops may be more apt than you appreciate - the word sabotage comes from when the French would throw their wooden shoe (sabot) into machinery to deliberately break it.
A flip flop onto the pitch would have delicious irony. :barscarf:

I think the flip-flop protest is a great idea.

Actually, on second thoughts I think it's terrible!

Right now I am losing interest in everything to do with arsene fc - the man himself wont fcuk off, the board have no interest in sacking him, the players sit there quietly happy to coin the money in without any trophy demands put on them and most importantly the fans sit back doing fcuk all and claim that we have turned a corner after wins against a struggling dortmund side, a piss poor baggies team and it took until the 89th minute to beat a southampton team that were reduced to 10 men at that stage  Maybe we should just hand over our club to the akb wa>nkers and let them be happy drifting along and supporting a team with zero ambitions to be a successful top side again - I for one would rather support a small and financially weak club if I felt that they had ambitions to better themselves and win trophies, than to support a club with zero ambitions and sit alongside c.unts who claim 4th place to be a success  Last season the victims came within a stevie me slip (  ) of winning the league with a weaker team than we had, and the opinion was that they had that world class player (the cannibal) that lifted them up to that level - this season we have a player (sanchez) that can and is doing that, but we are still a million miles away from winning a league and the journo's, the board and the akb c.unts need to ask themselves why. The reality is that we could have messi, ronaldo and aguero in our team and still not win the league under this poisonous c.unt and if people dont want to accept that then we are a lost cause

At this stage I would rather get the akb c.unts out of our club than get rid of the greedy american sweat shop supporter
