How many times have we seen that over the last few years? The screw starts to turn and then a few narrow scrappy fortunate wins against average opposition and suddenly it's gone.
It fucks me off to see Podolski as well. He's not good enough to be a central player for us and he just doesn't fit the system but he just gets wheeled out for 10-20 minutes when we're desperate for a goal and to be fair always causes a threat.
