Diaby's new deal is the boo boys punishment.

Watched it on a stream today, absolutely shocking, you could see the bottle had gone, shameful.

Watched the Stoke 3rd goal, 4 of our players all going for the same cross.
Ricochets off 2 of them for Walters to score, to call it schoolboy defending would be an insult to schoolboys.
Yet Wenger gets paid £8m per year to coach them.

I would imagine being on £8m per season Wenger must have a very high regard of himself, he certaintly never accepts any blame for debacles such as today. I reckon the worse part of a defeat for him is when he has to shake hands with what he perceives as upstarts like Hughes, Gary Monk, & Ronald Koeman. Probably bothers him more than the effect on the club.
There was a time when I would detest these classless managers such as Mark Hughes. When he would storm off down the tunnel after a defeat, yet after a victory would hang around to shake everyone's hand, including the opponents, officials and sometimes the ballboys.
Not now, I relish the look on Wenger's face when he has to acknowledge another upstart has turned him over, expect to see that sour expression a few more times before the new year.

Realistically, results like today don't really matter. The better question is, what are we playing for? this season has boiled down to trying to qualify for the money league, and we aren't even at Christmas yet. Watching PL games is a bizarre experience, as all these games are, is a chance for Wenger to come 4th, and justify his 8 million a year wage, nothing else.

It won't be the away support that will lead to AW leaving, it will be the home support turning on him. I've been a supporter of AW, and often felt that the Gooner contributors were too quick to call for his head (as far back as 5 seasons ago!). I wanted to believe that he could turn this around. However during last season it became clear that this wasn't going to be the case despite the FA cup win. It's a shame his legacy is now being tarnished, however when he goes that will only be a short term situation - he will be regarded with Chapman as the most influential man in the club's history.
People may joke about the average home supporter not having the passion, but we are now the closest we have been in seeing the demise of AW. The next average performance will see the whole stadium calling for change, and while that in itself will not see AW go the huge amount of goodwill AW has had to fall back on will have run out. He has a habit of managing to put a sequence of good results together when his back is against the wall, however this time I genuinely don't think he or his team have the ability to recover.
(Deep breath) I believe this season will be the last for AW, and while I'd like to think he will make that decision himself, my gut says it will be made for him.

And this, dear gentlemen, is one of the biggest problems we have. It shows that he can perform at least at some level to make better results if he put genuine focus on it, but the problem is that he does that only when he is already shitting himself and feels that there is real pressure against him.

In every other club the managers have the pressure to perform every week as they know that they are going to lose their job if they don't deliver. Not in Arsenal. Here it is ok to start performing when you are on the ledge of a disaster, not earlier.

This year though seems to be different as disaster is already happening but nothing changes... His luck seem to really run out finally.

I rarely post , but read the forum regularly. It must be bad for me to post.
I was going to start a new topic with the headline- Lets all laugh at Arsenal! I mean we have one for united. Then I thought better of it.
But thats what we have become a laughing stock
yesterday was the pits , I was at the stoke game last year and that was bad enough. best part of 5 hours there and 5 back I am glad I didnt go yesterday.
watched MOTD last night we were shite soft as shite. No back bone . We used to have a spine, how many players would you say are dead cert starters when fit? Kos and Sanchez maybe Ox. How many leaders do we have?
Shearer described the defense a shambles and embarrassment , Arsenal will never win the league until they sort their defense out.
Wenger inherited the defense form GG, if he hadnt does anyone think he would have won anything?
I recall Lee Dixon saying with GG they would work there socks off on the training pitch , so they had complete trust in each other and knew what the others would do. How we miss a character like TA now, marshaling the defense. Per looked like a stranded giraffe without Kos at his side. Chambers is a decent player, you could see that when he played at Southampton, but he was poor , Gibbs had a shocker , poor young Bellerin , his confidence will be shot.
Does anyone know if Wenger coaches the defense, because he sure as hell blames the defense week in week out, we were naive, we were a little soft ,our concentration was not good blah blah blah.
we all knew we would get injuries, he has just chanced for too long, even if he did go and reinforce with a world class defender /CDM its too f'ing late now mate.
last week he said we will win the league in the next 2 years -what a f'ing joke,he is seriously deluded if he believes this.
sorry to rant on, but my kids have had enough of me going on about it.
I love football and I love Arsenal and it pains to read that fans of the same club are fighting each other FFS.
its like the fall of the Russian empire- Gazidis to Wenger- Arsene the peasants are revolting , wenger to Gazidis - so are you , now get me another yes man, along comes Hill-wood with his fans are ignorant comments, and players of old spouting in Arsene we trust.
Arsene you are the problem, you have to go
we need a new manager that we can all get behind
Thanks for listening

Haven't been this angry after a game in a long time. Angry at the bald bastard ref, angry at the giant coward Merteslacker, angry at the shit can't cross a ball Gibbs, angry at Captain Stupid Flamoney again exposed as a cowardly wannabe hardman, angry at Wenger, angry at our pathetic zonal marking shite, angry at lackadaisical show pony Ramsey. :x

Just fucking angry. :x

Fucking Bath Spider Crouch should have been off for at least 3 intentional elbows. Fucking Bojan crunt should have been booked for waving the imaginary card the despicable little prick. I'm fucking disgusted we have not got one player with heart, with grit, with the balls to fucking stick into cúnts like Shawcunt and Crouch and let them know we won't be bitched down.

Fucking pussy Merteslacker won NOTHING in the air. He was bitched down by the skinny fucking stick insect Crouch and chickened out of everything.

Gibbs is woeful. He simply cannot cross a ball to save his life. How can that be? WTF??!! :banghead:

Captain Stupid was disgraceful. For Bojan's goal, he let the fucker run by him, looked at him twice, pointed at him twice and instead of doing his DM job of tracking the crunt he simply jogged back and let the fucker run in. Captain fucking Stupid brings nothing to this team; constantly dragged all over the pitch, no vision, no positional sense, cowardly but with a penchant for the pointless Hollywood lunge when it's not needed or called for, a fucking useless cúnt.

I remember an Arsenal that would have not only outplayed the utter inbred garbage that is Stoke but would have fucking outfought them too. WHERE HAS MY ARSENAL GONE? :|

It went, as soon as the Americans became involved, as from that point it became about finishing 4th, and nothing else. Back in the days of Vieira, Henry etc. games like yesterdays would have been crucial in ensuring we stay in the hunt for the title, but now adays, our loser mentality means that our players seem to pick and chose when they perform. What a cushy life it must be to be an Arsenal player, no pressure to win anything, and be treated like a hero for qualifying for a competition.

I hate Charlie Adam, an absolute scumbag, hope someone two foots him, and injures him. It wouldn't be any worse than what he does every week. Remember him stamping on Giroud last season.
