Anti-Wenger Protest

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I see Piers Morgan was at it again with his #wengerout posts on Twitter

The same fucking Piers Morgan who was happy to say that Wenger had proved him wrong with the Calendar Year Trophy at this stage last year

I said it back then and I'll say it again - that poxy trend was completely down to a quirk of the fixture list. There was never any real progress and so it has been proved

To be fair to Piers Morgan at least he is highlighting the Wenger out movement.
He is doing more than all of the spineless Arsenal supporters groups put together!

I used to think Morgan was useful for us but he proved himself to be King of the Flipfloppers last season and forgave WENGER for all his past sins when we won the Calendar Year Trophy. Be consistent

I don't suppose Piers Morgan will be at the wenger out protest? Perhaps he'll stick to spouting off on Twitter?
This is a man who persecuted arsenal fans for fighting back in Copenhagen Ffs.

I can only say one thing , please please Keep your protest respectful !
If you behave like those tramps on Stoke station you will alienate those who support your cause and worse you may receive
a very violent backlash from from some very naughty people who right now are fuming about the incident !
More than that pray Piers Morgan doesn't turn up or you will all be fair game !
We are not Spurs or Chelsea and that sort of behavior is unacceptable ,there are many , legions in fact that want him gone
but that sort of shit is way way beyond being Arsenal and will not be tolerated by a very large body of our fans .

Exactly.

Sadly those of us holding that view on the incident seem to be in the minority on here if the Wenger thread is anything to go by.

Honestly guys - it sounded like three or four pissed up blokes.....hardly some mass revolt of the thousands. Can't believe in a day and age where people receive violent verbal abuse on social media every day, and where every footballer who takes a corner is subject to dog's abuse......that a tiny handful of blokes shouting "fuck off" makes headline news !

Have to laugh at those "offended" by Wenger getting verbals at Stoke. Just shows how out of touch some really are.

Pent up frustration, genuine love of The Arsenal, years and fukin years of being drip fed pure shite and it comes out as an emotional outburst for a few seconds of booing and verbals? So fukin what?

These guys travel all over the country every game following us, spending absolute fortunes in the process. Its them and all the fans that are getting abused, not Wenger ffs. And its Wenger who is the abuser not the fans. Who hasnt wanted to yell at him? Call him names, boo him? Ive done it and had arguments with fellow supporters over him.

Make no mistake. Get ift right. Wenger has brought us to this point. No-one else. Not Kronke, not Gazidis. Wenger and Wenger alone.
Unfortunately you reap what you sow and Wenger is only now begining to reap the years of absolute shit that he has tortured us with.

All over Twitter today, I asked how many who are appalled paid good money to go to Stoke on Saturday ? None I imagine is the answer.
Again I do not condone but I do understand the reaction of frustrated supporters at the train station. In reality it could have been far uglier. But yeah lets keep it clean and dignified on Saturday..
