Other European Matches 9-11 December

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Italian league is fairly dreadful. Roma were shite from the off tonight, City completely lacked cohesion and managed to get caught with not enough numbers back whenever Roma looked like breaking but still strolled to a comfortable and deserved victory.

City won't do shit in the CL. They are not good enough and moreover Pellegrini is a shit tactician. In the PL they can generally get by turning up for 15 minutes a game and just chucking all their expensive attacking players on if they're struggling but over 180 minutes against the likes of Bayern, Madrid or Barcelona they'll be absolutely schooled (despite how dreadfully unfashionable it is to say anything remotely positive about the latter).
