Newcastle at Home, like

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Had to put it on mute. It's like Stoke (plus numerous other matches) never happened.

Sweet pen. :barscarf:

Newcastle have stunk the ground out for the most part.

"There's only one Arsene Wenger is the song going round the stadium now......how quickly things change"

As I've said times many - the majority at the Bowl are still for, and always will be. Must speak to the old man later - he'll be belting it out with the best of 'em tonight

Unbelievable isn't it. It's almost as if Stoke and the last 10 years never happened

Likewise. I feel like I've reached the point of lunacy now where this amuses me more than infuriates me.

Other than Niall Quinn. This bloke is fucking me right off. Every single thing that goes right, it's Wenger, or the players inspired for him. That tame shot that just about reached Szczesny and Quinn is wanking himself silly about it.

Reality is nobody really on the TV has the bollocks to really slate Wenger (and stand by it). Some of the print journalists do because they won't be put on the spot to justify it when we inevitably 'turn things round'.

Sky can fuck right off with this flattering scoreline nonsense. It was a comfortable win, end of.

Good win, 4-1 wasn't flattering, we could've had a couple more with that Gibbs chance and that breakaway 2v1. Beat the COSPs on Sunday and QPR and things will be looking good.

Watched the last 20 mins on a steam and we looked comfortable, confident passing until sanchez went off. Coquelin looked about a foot taller??No further up but further away from Liverpool and spuds. good result. :barscarf: :barscarf:

A six pointer on Boxing Day....

to the AKB's it never did.

nights like tonight are what they live for - opposition who offer nothing going forward.

anyway groanng over - OX was my MOTM today for effort and directness. i like him in the centre too. Bellerin and Alexis close seconds.

debuchy did okay, but not tested at all.

Lee Dixon suggested the newcastle players knew they could afford to lose - sisse and ameobi looked like they didn't care. only the collinccini and the ginga stood out for me.
