[POLL] Should we have bought back Cesc Fabregas?

You might also say that he would say that wouldn't he.

As I said, it's impossible to know what really happened because everything is so convoluted.
Wenger, Mourinho, and Fabregas all have different accounts as to what transpired and no one has explicitly asked if Wenger turned down Fabregas or if he turned down Arsenal.

As one of the biggest fans of cesc on here, can I suggest that we not bring this thread up on a weekly basis ? I have no probs fans referencing the monumental fcuk up of not re-sgning cesc, when commenting on other threads, but this is a thread asking if we should sign him and clearly that ship has sailed. When he comes into the grove and tears us apart, then we can all have a good rant about it on here, but in the meantime we should let this thread sleep imo

Ok, to stop augie getting her period over this, I've changed the thread title slightly. Apologies to the OP clockender, but augie with her period is an awful thing to behold.augie wrote:As one of the biggest fans of cesc on here, can I suggest that we not bring this thread up on a weekly basis ? the ultimate nightmare could still happen
that is NOT Fabregas winning the league with the chavs
that is NOT Fabregas winning the Champions league with the chavs
no the nightmare to end all nightmares would be for the chavs to go the league season unbeaten and for Cesc to become an invincible with them....doesnt bear thinking about

Imagine they're still unbeaten by the time they come to the Emirates and Wenger has to beat Mourinho for the first time ever to preserve our Invincible record...you just know we'll bottle it.Gunner Rob wrote:the ultimate nightmare could still happen

it is near enough to the end of the season that Chelsea might well just need a win at the Emirates to wrap up the title.
maybe they could get Wenger to hand the trophy to Mourinho - after all he has won it for them by letting them buy Fabregas

Would be quite courteous of the PL to do so seeing as it's the only way he's touching that trophy ever again.Gunner Rob wrote:it is near enough to the end of the season that Chelsea might well just need a win at the Emirates to wrap up the title.

Doesn't bear thinking about is the understatement of the era, mate! I would actually vomit through my eyes if that ever happened.Gunner Rob wrote:the ultimate nightmare could still happen

Every season I watch whichever latest pack of cúnts is having an unbeaten start and I pray to God they slip up. I absolutely cannot relax and enjoy any season until every team has had that one defeat that seperates them from the Invincibles.

I know...I know....It's Awful.....and the chavscum - with Cesc pulling all the midfield strings (Thanks Wenker you CUNNT) they are looking incredibly good....Is it wrong for me to want the chavs to lose more than I want the present Arsenal team to win?

Re: [POLL] Should we have bought back Cesc Fabregas?
Anything that shows up Wenger for what he actually is and was is game for me. When Terry's penalty hit the post in the CL final a few years before they actually won it that should have been the wake up call for Wenger, did he take heed? No he fucking didn't.
WE should have become the 1st London club to win the CL NOT fucking Chelsea!!! and we've only got the clueless *word censored* Wenger to blame for that fact, firstly by not winning it with the teams he had at his disposal 10 years ago, and by ballsing up our only final in 2006 by his clueless tactics and substitutions.
Perhaps we should look more closer to home than looking at what other clubs do or don't do. Yes a few years back it would have hurt to see a team emulate the Invincibles but if they do it then I'm not going to be upset by it as imo it shows up Wenger even more (this is what this 'man' has finally drove me to)
Anyway, imo, Fabregas didn't want to come back, I'm convinced by it, who would want to come back to same shambolic mess that he left a few years back. Also Wenger is always quoted that he didn't re-sign Fabregas because we signed Ozil.... but funny that, I thought there was at least 2 years between the sale of Fabregas and the signing of Ozil so that doesn't make sense to me, more fucking hogwash and lies from a 'man' I fucking despise with a passion.

I voted ''No'' and I still stand by the fact he is a disgusting scumbag.
However, on a footballing level, he is far better than Wilshere and Ramsey and if we had the by back option it doesnt make sense why Wenger didn't bring him back.
I wouldn't have welcomed a man who engineered his own transfer away from the club he was captain of after they had made him what he is, with open arms and I would still call him a *word censored*....but I would rather he was here.

Fair enough, you think he's a *word censored*, but I'd much rather he was our *word censored*. Flogged him for peanuts and didn't bother to exercise our first option to buy him back for equal peanuts. Madness.Arsenal Till I Die wrote:I voted ''No'' and I still stand by the fact he is a disgusting scumbag.

If Cesc didn't want to come back, fair enough (and would you want to play for Wenger again after having years of first hand experience of his continual failure?) but if we passed for any other reason then Wenger should be ashamed.

He strikes me as a decent player. The beard gives him a more mature visage.
