THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

ONE ARSENE WENGER, THERE'S ONLY ONE ARSENE WENGER! :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Because there's absolutely nobody else in the world who's capable of guiding us to a win over Newcastle. You ungrateful bastards, be careful what you wish for!

This was his actual quote, "I dreamed of playing for them, I loved them since I was a child. I don't detest Arsenal because of the way Wenger treated me. My frustration is I quit Arsenal too soon. I left a club I loved without really showing how good I was. I am happy I went there and was able to work with Wenger. I never thought I'd quit after just two seasons."
Can I be the first to say thank fuck he is such a quitter then. The fact that I no longer have to watch that useless fuck on a weekly basis is one of very few positives aspects of Arsenal right now.

Thought against man City on Wednesday Gervinho showed a lot of effort and also showed all that is wrong with him. He doesn't think, doesn't get his head up. He is the kind of player that will occasionally score goals but is not a top level player.

At least he barely plays though, Gervinho was a regular starter

WHY CAN'T THEY SEE WHAT WE ALL CAN ??????????- (well except for afcforever) :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

The hypocrisy of football knows no bounds - the very commentators who slate him week in week out for his stubbornness and lack of defensive and tactical nous rushing to his defence on the back of the 'non story of the year' i.e. 3 pissed blokes with a mobile phone.

My favourite moment was the commentator saying "and that's nice to hear....the crowd singing There's Only One Arsene Wenger"

Where's this so called rebellion then? Its still a tiny minority and the pro-Wenger boys proved it yesterday

Its a very tiny minority, going by the amount of people I spoke with at the game.

If you've got time, be sure to check out the absolute windowlickers who queued up for their ArsenalFanTV interviews after yesterdays game. These two wrong 'uns are my favourite; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qh864hnJb4A

I'm afraid we all need to start asking ourselves this question: "Will any of us be alive by time Wenger leaves Arsenal?" :?

I bet those singing muppets are the same ones who'll be praying to the gods we draw either Monaco or Porto today. As promised, these are the big clubs we moved stadium to compete with, right?
